When it comes to her acting, i do agree that she was pretty horrible in SM. But she has received critical acclaim for all her acting works post trishna(2012). So to blame her for something she had done before a decade is too much.

Apart from PC & DP others u mentioned are B/C list actresses at best. Coming back to frieda , she spoke about her bolly rejection only twice that too because she was asked by a journalist. The fact that PC, DP, Kajol, Rani, Bipasha (not now though) made it to the Top league in a Pro-Fair country also cannot be ignored. Point is dont just blame her color for not getting opportunities, she just lacked everything back then. Even art cinema persons did not take her in their films bcoz she didnot have the acting chops, screen presence, nothing!

Am not denying that fair skin has a preference not just in India but also everywhere but she cannot solely put the blame on just her "color" for not clearing auditions.

If she didn't have acting skills she wouldn't have survived for a decade . Oscar winning director John Ridley who worked with her in TV show guerrilla has cast her again in his upcoming film opposite Orlando bloom.
