CT: You're right! But I still think looks wise they're a 1009 miles ahead of MC. I find her pretty/really pretty but not BW pretty. Sonali & Dia are very beautiful women & Dia has such an articulate & nice personality. Screen presence is absolutely the most essential to being a star. DP certainly has loads of the C factor, as do all the others you've mentioned.

No screen presence? Look at 0.41...she is utterly beautiful! Tall and graceful.

And fortunately, she looks innocent too. Not a generic plastic cookie cutter heroine.

Kareena is there for a couple of seconds and is doing her usual chulbuli act. Manushi projects the adverts target audience beautifully...a fresh, blushing, starry eyed bride innocent and full of hope. Ethereally beautiful in those jewels.

We need an innocent face in Bollywood after Alia. Manushi fits the bill.

Manushi looked weird in the scene with kareena its mainly because of the way they styled her.

But when she starts dreaming of her own wedding she really comes alive. I think she has screen presence and I think she still deserves a debut in Bollywood!

She stands out more than Ananya lol if Ananya can get a debut then Manushi SURELY can.

lol Kareena has been doing this shit for nearly 20 years now. Let's give her some time, she also will improve with time. It is not fair to compare Manushi to someone as senior as Kareena who does not only have nearly 20 years on age difference on her but also nearly 20 years of professional experience.
Manushi is not as bad as she is made out to be.

what i meant was..primarily the screen presence or lack of it got highlighted coz kareena was in the same frame..who has always had that in abundance even in her debut itself

If I even ignore Manushi's expressions and dance moves which left no effect, I don't like the jewelry she has worn too. Other actresses atleast make the jewelry look evident and attractive while Manushi's jewelry looks too heavy on her and she couldn't carry it well as she's too skinny. May be bad direction but she needs to work hard too.

In the shots with Kareena, Manushis image is BLURRED. And Kareenas is HD.😆 And there's a huge close up of her already huge face. For whatever little she has shot.

(shukar hai , she has accepted the little footage. In the past Kareena would not have touched an ad like this with a barge pole.! Where another person is the main model.)

If you put Ash in place of Manushi in those blurred shots, they will say she has no screen presence. The way people said Kareena acted well in first part of JWM, and didn't in latter where she has to be quiet.

Thank heavens we are not seeing a blank face, for once in Manushi, all the little twitches, creases which go with a normal human being are still there. Her smile, her eyes, they look like a normal person. Not perfect but beautiful because of that. Enjoy it while it lasts, the way Bollywood is, we may not enjoy any natural beauty for long.
