Not Ranveer Singh, but Aamir Khan to play Osho Rajneesh before his Mahabharata film?

And this may happen before he embarks on his ambitious Mahabharata.

Some time ago, there were rumours making the rounds that filmmaker Karan Johar was planning to make a film on Osho Rajneesh and that he wanted to sign Ranveer Singh to play the protagonist. Well, as it turns out, it was one of those vain rumours that didn't hold any water.

However, a little birdie has a new nugget to share. It is being said that Aamir Khan, who is currently busy working on his Satyamev Jayate project and the film Thugs of Hindostan, will play the role of Osho in a web series for one of the digital majors. And this may happen before he embarks on his ambitious Mahabharata. We await official word on this.

There is a Netflix documentary called "Wild Wild Country" about Rajneesh which is horrifying and fascinating to watch. Wonder how Mamu will play it.

Watched "Wild Wild Country" documentary on Rajneeshpuram and I thought Rajneesh was nothing to be respected for. We used to hear a lot about how enlightened he was and how soft spoken he was but for a person assumed to be a god he badmouthed woman who worked hard to establish Rajneesh as God on national tv in front of people who were out to get him and her.Very egoistic and a fool.

I hope neither of them do this movie and it goes to Ranbir since he is Phd in Manchild kind of roles.

That's why they sent him packing from Oregon. He was like a poster child for inspiration for others like MSG to follow.

In that way I think MSG is worst. Because all that was consensual. Women were to Osho ashrams of their own volition unlike MSG whose followers are village idiots who send their daughters and women to him.
