Clicking selfies , talking abiut menstruation isn't done at all.places. We did have awareness programmes at schools where both girls ans boys were made to sit in assembly hall and sanitary napkin manufacturers came and conducted a lot of group discussions, and stuff like that. After interactive session they sent away boys and distributed pads among girls.
It's obvious that they wouldn't give off free samples to boys because they don't use them ..

Unlike twinkle akshay's stupid challenge i.like what manushi did. Shouting on footpaths , creating awareness among public in the real sense. And distributing pads on roads. Twinkle is anyway famous for.plagiarizing ideas so she could have jus done what manushi did.

Lord. Did you just compare menstruation to urination and defecation? WHAT. Nobody in the world is ashamed of urinating or defecating. But even today, periods is seen as something of a secretive thing. Perhaps if it happened to men too it wouldn't be the case in society. And not all schools have awareness and not all men and women go to school in India. Awareness is still required in small towns. So many men even today switch channels when pad ads prop up. So stop looking at it from privileged point of view.

Not being open in public about it isn't being ashamed about it. These two things r different. It would be nice if they spoke about it like it's natural thing for women and not a curse instead of posing with pad. Discuss about it openly. Make a debate rather come with stupid idea if posing with pad.

How is displaying pad is Spreading awareness and for what ? In todays generation every one (even kids of small classes all thanks to tv ads )knows women use pads during periods but the point here Some are saying is why display a pad ? Which gains nothing !!instead they should talk abt the actual problem of how girls were treated in those days and it is a natural process for them and not to be ashamed of Would make much sense !

What is wrong in showing a pad? Natural things and other details will be shown in the movie.

Exactly. Make a debate. Open letters. Celebs sharing incident. These things make it more interesting. The more people participate in debate. The message becomes more clear along with promotion of movie.

The debate revolving around padmavat made it more interesting. Make a debate. Open letters. Celebs sharing incident. These things make it more interesting. The more people participate in debate. The message becomes more clear along with promotion of movie.Posing with the pad is silly.

women will not come to take pads front of man ,they will feel ashamed and shy ...they can distribute in girls collage but then again they want to break taboo so for this its a good strategy

someone should give challenge to BIG B ,if he do it , it will be a big influence.

Stop making things up. what the heck have we done...who is treating it bad? Stop ur nonsense and fake accusations.

@ I dont want to talk about menstruation. I have nothing to do with it. Not every topic needs to be talked upon. What is this mindset..oh boys and girls should talk about it u see. kyun bhai..just spread awareness..why making it a topic involving all..because u want ALL for the movie..disgusting people who dont care about issues but to promote their movies they became rent-a-social worker lol

thats my take.I am glad vast majority here agree with me. thanks
