Whether he is her boyfriend or not, it is clearly visible that he is not as aggressive as Deepika while promoting Padmavati, though he has one of the major roles.

He is a Sindhi, right? Sindhis and Gujaratis (Mukhesh Ambani, chairman of Viacom) would prefer to get the things done under the table, rather than confrontation.

Deepika has the genes of sports person, that killer instinct. She performs her best, when anything is thrown at her as a challenge. Hopefully Meenamma will succeed this time too.

Coming to business sense of Gujaratis, Mukhesh has the right connections in central as well as Gujarat. (He has invested heavily in Gujarat state). If he was undergoing loss, he would have defenitely made governments to reconsider their decision (behind curtains).

His inaction shows, they probably wanted a later date for PV.
