i hope i dnt offend any fans of David but before VD came his sort of cinema was dying no one was interesting in his comedy movies. VD with his charisma and acting is actually making him money at the moment. i think that alia is the 1st bhatt to be taken seriously after a long time otherwise their films and name is just only known for their sleazy sex movies.


furthermore they actually making their surname and lineage proud with how well they doing. unlike the kapoor children who are here simply coz of their name. kareena that over the top cow has so many flops bt is still around coz of her surname and her diva routine. and that other flopoor is giving disaster after disaster and is still getting movies? why obviously coz of their name.

we have stars like abhishek when i should watch him as a kid i loved his movies and he acts very well bt he never realized that To be a star u have to be the complete package looks and acting is important. he never tookbcare of his looks hence no one is bothered ab him now. the same thing is gona happen to arjun.


bt i will say there is a question mark for me on Alia. i remember watching her and vd and the kapil sharma show u could see the audience could not care a darn about her they liked vd more then her.

i just watched the IIFA awards and i felt the same way ppl where just clapping for the sake of it for her bt when vd danced with her. they seemed more interesting in her. one has to wonder about her popularity

vd dances very dil se with a lot of energy sometimes alia may come across as boring for an audience sometimes in interviews and dancing. in dream team alias face had less expressions compared to varun who was immersed in it.

I would say both nepotism and talent on Varun's situation but on Alia's situation, it's more nepotism.

Undoubtedly talen for Varun. This guy was brilliant and the show stealer despite being second fiddle in SOTY. I believe if he weren't DD's son, somehow he would have landed up in DD's godhi with his natural comic timing and energy 😆 . Lucky for both Dhawan didn't have to search for a talent outside to carry his legacy forward. I know VD has done just 1 movie with him so far, but I hope to see many in future. His comedy was better than Rohit's cooked up comedy and craze for cars. 😆


Alia - Although she is talented, but she has sharpen her skills with time. If not an insider, no one would have approved of her SOTY acting. So for her I can say she started in BW due to nepotism, but since last 3-4 yrs she is succeeding due to her acting. 🥳 That's also big because there are lot more actors and actresses in BW who aint succeeding and causing HUGE loss to the industry movies after movies yet they continue due to nepotism. That's not the case with these two since they are accepted by the audience !

Nepotism yes but after that only talent. Not everybody can give back to back hits.

varun genuinely is funny in movies though

alia is highly favoured by kjo she gets too many movies with him she has barely seen struggle got her movie at age 17

They are successful because of luck and teenage, young audience love them.

You need nepotism to get chances but it doesn't guaranty you success or popularity. ex- AB jr, Uday Chopra etc etc

And you can be successful or popular even without talent. ex- Dhinchak Pooja, Salman Khan etc etc
