Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting for Aanand L Rai's film

Work for Aanand L Rai's much awaited film starring Shah Rukh Khan has begun in the earnest and the star reportedly is going to be begin shooting for the film from tomorrow. Shah Rukh is as excited about the film as his fans. Back in April, when he went to the San Francisco Film Festival, he had this to say about the film. "That movie is very exciting, very different. To me, it is technologically most superior movie ever been made in India. I don't want to show-off, but it is one of its kinds and will start next month. I am very excited."

The film reunites Shah Rukh Khan with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star, Katrina Kaif. It was also to star Deepika Padukone but she backed off because of Padmavati commitments. Last heard, Alia Bhatt was out of the film as well. Watch this space for more news about who the second heroine would be.

Shah Rukh Khan Starts Shooting For His Next With Aanand L Rai

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan starts shooting for director Aanand L Rai's film from Tuesday in Mumbai. The makers of the film have recreated some popular locations of Meerut including the Ghanta Ghar in Film City.

Initially, Aanand did have a plan to start shooting of the film in Meerut but later changed his mind. A source close to the unit said:

"Rai may shoot some portions of the film in Meerut but the entire first schedule will be in Film City."

The film has Katrina Kaif playing one of the female leads. Rai is yet to find the second lead girl for his film. Some of the others include Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal and Zeeshan Ayub.

I'm too darn excited for this movie as well as equally nervous! 😆 The thing that makes me excited is the fact that Shahrukh is starring in a movie that will be directed by Anand. I'm a fan of Raanjhanaa as well as Tanu Weds Manu Returns , I like his approach , not to mention his movies have that earthy vibe to them so I can't wait to see how this one will shape up. This is one of those that will require a lot of VFX work so I can't wait to see how it will eventually look. The thing I'm nervous about is the fact that we still don't know the entire star cast! 😆 Not to mention the scale of this one will be pretty huge and they are working with Eros...ugh. Let's just say I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one when it comes to the filming as well as release of it next year!
