Yes yes, I know, their body and their right and all that jazz.. But I am really curious why these khawateen have to flash their assets? Is that what is called trend and style.. So much asset flashing I see in every freaking award show that its idiotic.. Now west style has always been like that but whatever happened to the good old eastern style? Why can't we have that back? There is a reason that there was such marked difference between east and west cultures and styles? Why did it all become entangled? I am born in the wrong era..

I think people are more influenced by the West. They want to be like in the West and then come with lectures of my body and my right. People have misunderstood the definition of bold. If your talking about awards show then gowns have been in trend and sarees. Some of these actresses dressed up nicely accept a few. 👍🏼

Women are more comfortable in their skin today. Society is far more accepting to #MyChoice and anyone who's remotely liberal doesn't mind the shift coz anything that allows any being -man or woman express themselves is welcome.

You can express your dislike on someone's fashion choice however the topic was a sweeping statement.

Why are women showing their boobs so much these days?

Because it's not a big deal to them and most people around them. It's amazing the kind of things a person can do and will do when the fear of judgment is gone. Who better to showcase that than the successful, fierce lot?

It is so annoying.. I mean, men are supposed to be all suited up at awards shows while women bare it all.. Its annoying and ugh.. I don't know how to put my thoughts

I never talked about values though😆 Style and culture yes😆😆
Because I believe in hiding your body via clothes?😆 My sensibilities do not get offended.. The sense of style does😆 As for myopic views, why does one need to be fine with nudity and skin show to have a broadminded view? Who gets to decide that? You? Based on what? What if I say, your views are myopic because you are so offended by someone having a different line of thought than you? I
As for the last bit, because I don't like skin show.. Simple as that

I may not use as many emojis but the sentiment is the same.

You are right, you did not mention values, only stated style. I equate culture with values.

Being comfortable with nudity does not mean one is broadminded at all but judging someone on their choice of clothing is definitely small mindedness. Style is personal, showing a certain part of skin can seem very natural to some.

How odd would you feel for someone to judge you for showing your arms, legs, neck or back in the name of judging your style? It is the same mindset that allows moral preachers to decide what length of a skirt is okay , there was a time when sleeveless blouses were adjudged the same " what is the need?" The need is for doing what you want with your look - clothes, body or hair .

You don't like skin show , don't indulge. Be open to other people being comfortable in it the way you would be in say wearing a tee. Simple as that.

I am talking about all the appearances.. Take Disha at FF for instance.. I mean that dress was so... You know what I mean.. Or Sonam's various dresses.. And as much as I hate mentioning her, Priynka in all her appearances. Why.. I mean why?

😆

I was thinking the same..
What if men atleast in HW award shows started dressing provocatively, like bare chested or go even further, show top 2 inches of their behind?

Btw that is western custom- men covering women not, it doesn't used be like that up until early 20 th century

I agree the risqu dresses are not always aesthetically pleasing. Actresses wear it for attention and models wear it as a part of job. The trend is sickening I agree.
