Hi All,
I want to understand how delay in making a movie affects a movie budget.
We often hear that movies like Bombay Velver have high budget because they took very long to make. How does it increase the budget ? Is it because :
1) You have to pay salaries of support staff , engaged in movie making, irrrespective of wheather you shoot or not?
2) Pay interest on money borrowed?
or any other reason?
Salaries of Stars, music director, Director, make up and hair , dress designers are all constant. So what increases movie budget if there is delay in making?
