Bajrangi Bhaijaan has set a second weekend record in many circuits of India and the overall total for India and it seems to be heading for one in US / Canada also.
PK had grossed $1,705,839 on 264 sites in its second weekend and the early figures for Bajrangi Bhajaan are $1,690,000 on 257 sites. There is a good chance that the final figures will come in $25-50,000 higher which would be a record though the final figure could also be a bit lower. The cumulative ten day figure in US / Canada is $5.70 million which is more than double the figure on any Salman Khan release in US / Canada before.
The other major grossers in US / Canada like Dhoom 3, 3 Idiots, Chennai Express grossed $1,068,145, $1,494,541 and $893,459 respectively in their second weekends.
