Elsewhere, two dramas from India made noise at the U.S. box office, with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and holdover Bahubali: The Beginning placing relatively high up on the chart. In its second weekend, the latter grossed $1.3 million from 210 theaters for a domestic total of $6.3 million. Opening in 256 locations, Bajrangi placed No. 10 with $2.6 million.

Finally got to watch the movie.very very honestly I was expecting much more because of all the hype and the positive reviews from everyone..first half was interesting at some places and boring at some plus some songs were ok.2nd half is the actual movie and loved it.cried my eyes out like everyone else in the hall.frankly speaking for me nawazzudin is brilliant the best thing that happens to the movie.more than harshali or Salman separately,I loved them together.the tears in Salman's eyes can melt anyone's heart.little girl looks like an angel.kareena didn't impress me.everyone clapped at the end of the movie(I live in USA)..I think what's clicking most with audiences is that everyone is shown as having humanity in them irrespective of religion,country,status.brilliantly shot in Kashmir..guess what??SALMAN IS THE MAN..Jai Shri Ram
Wait one last thing I LOVE bhar de jholi..pain in Salman's eyes 😭

Another thing..i dont think bahubali colle tion in usa are legit why see in bollywood hungama ( source rentrack india) they gae the three day weekend 4.5 vs mojo 3.5 july 10-12

This chart is mojo which is used to measure movies in usa..why rentrack being used and that in india, i bring it up because bajrangi is being compared to it..so when 1 million more gross is being reported by rentrack but in mojo its less, how can one believe numbers given, ( rentrack is used in europe mainly) anyhow, Taran using moja on bajrangi but rentrackindia used on the other but in usa/canada/ north america its moja!!

Saw BB; was dragged to it. And will be honest: I loved it!

The star of the show was Harshali Malhotra and Kashmir! That kid took my heart away! If it's possible ... That kid deserves some kind of an Award for her performance!

It was Salman Khan's best movie, won't deny that - but I don't understand why people are saying he deserves NA for it ... 😆 I didn't spot any difference in his performance ... He was good at some places but I think he played his typical character. It was just the movie.

I didn't realiize that Chand Nawab YT video was that popular! Haha! That was one of the highlights of the show! People laughed their arse off at that part.

Enjoyable. Will give 3.5/5.

PS: Bhar Do Jholi (Even though Adnan Sami ruined it) and Sapna Jahan are lovely songs!

Omg I'm so overwhelmed after watching this film. I hope it breaks every single Bollywood record ever made. The world is in need of such beautiful messages.

I never got a chance to read all the other reviews in this thread out of fear that there might be a spoiler but now I really wanna go through every single page to see what people thought:)

I can truly say this movie will stay with me forever. I still feel like crying just thinking about it.😭

Hats off to every single person associated with this film but special mention to Salman, Harshaali, Nawazuddin and Kabir Khan.❤️😳 I loved every single scene with Nawaz, such a natural actor with an amazing knack for comedy. Salman seriously had me tearing up, Harshaali is my jaan. I wish I could adopt that beautfiul innocent doll ...she was the life of this film and Kabir Khan once again proved what an expert he is at handling such sensitive sunjects. These 4 people have a huge contribution in making this film the gem that it is.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan has set an all time record for the first weekend as it has grossed in the 100 crore nett range. The previous record was Dhoom 3 at 97 crore nett in its Hindi format. Dhoom 3 had a dubbed version and if business of that is included then it went over 100 crore nett.

The business on Sunday will probably come out the highest ever for a single day as it edges past the Sunday business of PK of 38.25 crore nett. The weekend breakdown is 26.50 crore nett, 35.50 crore nett and 38.50 crore nett for 100.50 crore nett.

The collections are historic in Delhi/UP, East Punjab, CP Berar, CI and BIhar. Rajasthan is also all time record on gross figures though on nett its slightly short of record as for a few years till last year there was no tax. The other circuits are close to record collections. The holiday period will continue in various states for the next few days and the film should still benefit over the next 2-3 days especially in Muslim dominated areas. The film is the biggest hit of 2015 and will emerge the biggest grosser in the career of Salman Khan.
