can't be hit already... what is the status of collections exactly? for a film to be called hit, it should earn around double for small budget movies..
last i heard it is hovering around 45 crores...that's less than priyanka chopra's mary kom, isn't it?

Also Talking Moviez is not a famous site but this verdict and analysis is given by Akshay Rathi who is a distributor! :)

Koimoi - They have given PLUS* for now! Waiting for update.

Talking about BOI, They have given it a Average verdict because there collections are less,around 45crs.

PS - Every site has personal agenda and style to give verdict! All this collection crap is just to fool fans to be honest. HAIDER IS A WINNER IN EVERY WAY ACCORDING TO ME!

The critical acclaim the movie got from everywhere & the positive word of mouth..The IMDb rating & simply the love of public. . Films are meant to be recieved the So called "Verdict" by these things not 100 & 200crs ...Also a dark film meant for niche audience doing 59crs in 1200 screens with a clash with biggest commercial entertainer is HUGE, if you ask me.

SO lets not degrade a movie like Haider by arguing on this verdict stuff.

Question : Whats the logic if a film gets 4000-5000 screens & has the biggest pre-release buzz...in end turns out to be not really a good film or average film BUT coz of packed advance booking it earns 100crs already in the weekend by fooling people by all this promotions hype and buzz and THEN FALLS and rejected by people..but by the end people realize it already has made 150crs .. .So would you call this film a HIT OR a film which starts with 20% occupancy...dosnt earns much in the weekend but stands strong and rockssteady and rides on word of mouth and slowly becomes a winner.. ?

For me latter one is HIT and former one just fooled and made business!!

E.g. Queen doing 61crs from 1cr opening and Haider doing 59-60crs from 6cr opening.. THIS IS HIT .. I dont consider films like Bang Bang Hit which earns 100crs in weekend but drops and falls and come to 1500 screens in a week from 3500 :|

Mary kom did 64crs. (3100 screens)

Haider budget is 35crs & it released in 1200 screens! It has earned 58crs so far and will end with 60crs.

Accurate figure is only known to production house.No website could give clear cut figure.There are thousands of theatres.Website only give approximate figure by percentage occupancy.Most of single screens are taken equally in this theory.For eg. If you take 60% occupancy may be some theatres have 90% occupancy but you have to take 60 on whole.Mathematics and statistics can't give exact figure here.Beside You can't place man on each an every theatre to check stats.
