Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been confirmed to play a pivotal role opposite Salman Khan in Kabir Khan's next big venture Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

The film, which goes on the floors next month, will see Siddiqui join the unit in January. Earlier, Khan and Siddiqui were seen together in the blockbuster Kick'.

Kabir told Mumbai Mirror, "I first worked with Nawaz in New York. This was well before he became a breakthrough acting force. I wanted to do another film with him but there was nothing apt for an actor of his calibre in Ek Tha Tiger or Phantom. I've finally found an intriguing part for him in Bajrangi Bhaijaan."

Without giving much away about the film, Kabir said, "All I can say at this point is that I'm dealing with a strong contemporary political backdrop."

Bajrangi Bhaijaan' releases during Eid 2015.

BTW Nawaz was in NewYork ? 😲 . I liked the movie But didn't remember him being in the movie 😲 . Can anyone tell me which character he played there ?

Why havent I heard about this movie until some few days ago? :P

Btw I am happy to watch Salman with Kareena than someone newcomer :P I just hope it will be better than Bodyguard then I will watch it even if it is a Salman Khan masala film :P
