She has been a Cannes regular for some years now, but what exactly brings this actress to the Croisette each year is a well-kept secret. The head of a rival international film festival, who was dining with the elite set from Bollywood last week, claimed she had finally gotten to the bottom of the story. The festival boss said that she had learnt from reliable sources that the B-lister has long been in a 'discreet relationship' with the owner of one of the finest hotels on the Croisette, where she has a permanent suite.

Her 'contact', according to this source, lands her invitations to all the big-ticket festival premieres, makes sure she has a fancy car at her disposal and has given her access to an unlimited shopping allowance.

Mystery man in Mallika Sherawat's life revealed!

Soon after her Cannes 2012 journey when Mallika Sherawat tweeted a picture of her taking off to Versailles from Cannes in a private jet, she would not have expected she is inviting trouble. The actress put up a photo saying, "taking off for Versailles in my friends private plane".

However, ever since that post she's been flooded with queries about the identity of her 'friend' and allegations that he's sponsoring all her trips and events abroad.

So, finally fed up with the allegations, she decided to set the records straight. A furious Mallika reacted to this and said, "This is ridiculous! I am fed up of these nasty rumours and people asking me strange kind of questions. Why can't a woman be successful on her own? Why does she need a man in her life to reach a certain position? I don't need a man to take care of me, thank you! I am capable of pampering my needs and am happy to be on my own. I don't need to be dependent on any man for anything."

Revealing the friend's identity, she says, "I flew famous hotel moghul in Dominique Desseigne's aircraft. He's very well known in Europe. I travelled in his plane along with my brother for a special VIP visit to the Chateau of Versailles. He got us permission to take a tour of the rooms and areas of the palace that are only accessible to VIPs."

Well, we hope she has made herself clear!

Sonam, I like her Black gown and lavender or bluish colour gown. The saree piece did not like saree at all but loved the necklace. Did not like her hairstyles that much but the make up was best.

Aishwariya R B best was her 1st day appearance, after that all of her gowns & make up are duds. To much of red lipstick, worst one was that green shiny eyeshadow with red lipstick worst combination ever. For a beautiful face she sure has bad sense of fashion & makeup.

Yeah. According to Jack of Fashion Scandal, the richest NRI who resides in UK used to be her sugar daddy before this naya bakra.
