I am talking in general. There would be denials... People do give multiple chances to work things out... Eventually if things reach a saturation poin, they walk out.

I remember last year, when the rumors started about Suz and HR and the trouble in paradise... There were denials and more denials until they officially announced the separation.

But domestic abuse is an issue of major concern... Good for her, if things are fine between them... Maybe she really has a health issue and she could be working on it and that explains her absence from two major international events that she dropped out at the last moment...

Everybody gets irritated and defensive when people start saying shit about their personal life, whether it's true or not...unless they're attention seekers.Vida is certainly not the first.
Nobody wants to wash dirty laundry in front of everyone, especially because people are so annoyingly judgemental anyways.

This is a usual media exercise. Rumors, denial, refutations,separation. I was expecting Vidya to give out this statement sooner and from the tone of the interview its clear how defensive she is ,unlike her usual self.

I hope Vidya stays true to herself and doesn't become a battering target to an insane man.

I think its unfair to take it for granted that Sid Roy is an abuser just 'cos some gossip site said so. Same website has got things wrong in the past.
