I think it is fine if she was lobbying for the role or even if she got the role. I feel sometimes she has to watch the way she says things.

I wouldn't say it's desperation. It's actually stupidity- you would yes to a movie without knowing the story, script, your character, etc. How can she say "I'll do it". She could have said if I like the role I'll do it.

I do find her desperate in many other ways such as the stories in the media about her being apart of EVERY movie.

She said that she would do the movie...IF...she liked the script...There is a big IF in her statement...which means she would look at the script and the offer and IF she she likes it then only she will do it... 😛

You have to want something to get it! What's wrong with it! Some are open abt it, some aren't! Nice to see that she isn't sitting up there like a queen bee waiting for things to happen😉

I have a feeling Deepika already signed Shuddhi. I think KJo is just waiting for the right time to announce the cast.

At this point there are only few actresses are in the running for this part. DP, PC, Kat, Anu, Sonakshi. We keep hearing about Deepika's full calendar, but we know only of Window Seat. So nosy people want to know with what. Since Shuddi will need a block of days, the answer is DP ? but Karan does not want the focus off 2 states, but would like the keep the media talking about it, hence this drama.

What is desperation if she is answering IF SHE LIKES THE SCRIPT then she'll do it.

Karan Johar never denied approaching Ranveer and Deepika he said they are not finalized yet.

The star cast have not been finalized yet, if she thinks that she still have the chance to be a part of it, then I don't see what is wrong in stating that she is interested in the project..
