Alia Bhatt is not convincing in Highway dialogue promos

Highway is hyped as this cinematic genius movie by industry people.. but the dialogues are really disappointing.

The trailer and songs are good which is always the case for Imtiaz Ali movies. But I just today saw the dialogue promos on the youtube account and they are not good at all.

Alia is a miscast, age wise and look wise she suits the character but when she opened her mouth and had to act she was a big fail. I felt as if I was watching Shanaya Singhania in Veera's clothes. I couldn't see the character Veera.

I hope this is just the case in the promos. I am looking forward to the movie and I hope it is good unlike the dialogue promos.

Berlin reviews of Highway called her - over acting, over the top, spoilt brat kinda acting...

But Imwill watch the movie even thought the theme is not good for today's India where there are so many rapes, molestations and kidnapping.

I'm curious about the story of Highway and all those beautiful places they filmed the movie and ofcourse Randep Hooda, i know he doesn't have a long role But still he steals the screen even with his 2 lines...

So the movie is not just all about Alia though i think for a non trained actress for her second movie she's doing a good job...

the movie is veera's journey.

It's about her being engaged and about to get married she goes on the highway and gets kidnapped. The kind of life she experiences after being kidnapped fascinates her. She falls in love with it, comes from a rich family background and conservative who never let her experience stuff.

Also she has been raped when she was a child for the first time she talks about it with the guy who kidnapped her who she falls in love with, he falls in love with her too.

Maine pehle hi kaaha tha this girl Alia Yucky Bhatt SUCKS !! Neither she looks good, nor her acting skills are impressive .. Totally worthless, BAKWAAS Actress !! 🤢

Thank you for the preview, i know it's about Veera, Alia's character...but i also keep in mind the writer's and director's story and how they present it...

So acting wise i'm not expecting alot from Alia but i'm sure she did an ok job...so for me it's the story and the presentation from the director's point that interest me..

So far the trailers are amazing...
