About Sushmita thread you stated your opinions like the rest of us did. There is no proof either way. The same should apply to Bachchan posts too.

I didn't say she was prioritizing her career over kids. I just said she was very much interested to make a quick buck while it lasts under the pretext of giving an Indian upbringing to her kids.

Well, in the Sushmita thread I gave my opinion on some basis. I just didn't make it up. If I ever make a claim, there would be a good reason behind it to back it up.

And where did I say she wants to be a big star? I just said she was very much interested to make a quick buck while it lasts under the pretext of giving an Indian upbringing to her kids. And what she's been doing for the past few months makes it even more obvious! It is out there for everyone to see.

And there I was asked an opinion of why Sushmita couldn't make it. And I thought it was because she didn't work hard enough (with support from Sush's own statements). So in retrospect, it does make sense. But you can choose to not make sense out of it. 😃 To each his own. I'm done with repeating the same thing over and over. I rest my case.

Yes, but is it wrong to ask someone how they came to the conclusion that a certain star is gay or has extra marital affairs? I'm just asking! Asking is no crime I believe.

What's the point? I can go tell them give proof etc etc and kick them out of a thread. But that wont change their opinions. They will go and state the same opinion in another thread and I would do the same. The same cycle will continue. Isnt it better to have a enjoyable discussion where you get to read varied opinions and forget about them?

Edit add: No harm is asking how someone came to a conclusion about a certain star. I dont think anyone would mind that. But when you start off with give me proofs...that becomes tricky.

Phew!! More or less the same question in the other topic, so I clubbed this into one.

It's only a 'fun activity' and nobody's going to gain anything. But like I said in the other thread, some discussion would give clarity of thought. Yeah, if they're stubborn, they wouldn't even bother discussing it because they aren't open to changing their opinion. But this is not about them. I'm just saying there is no harm if there in a discussion. And it is not bullying or forcing. Because the member would have the option to choose whether to hold a discussion or not. They could always ignore and avoid a person who is asking for an explanation. It's as simple as that.

Exactly! No harm in that. And by proof I didn't mean solid proof or anything. Just that there would be some base to any story.. But yes, if it is baseless, it is pointless to hold a discussion.

^^^I dont think having a discussion about stars would give anyone clarity of thought or change their opinions. Change of opinions happens only if time proves them otherwise. For instance these Rani fans here:

Coming to proofs I can speak for myself...most of my opinions are based what has been printed in newspapers over the years and certain action of stars that I have observed. There might not be basis available on the internet now as newspapers started going online in a big way only few years back-around 2007/8 timeframe. At times even if something was published the links expire as they dont store old articles. That doesnt mean I make baseless claims. Its ok if you dont want to believe it. Even I dont believe every piece of gossip written about SRK.
