Do the controversies about a star affect him/her?Do your feelings and point of view about a star changes with the news published on newspaper or article about him/her.Does a star become more popular and approached by more producers if he/she is in the news for good/bad reasons?If he/she is in the image for a wrong reason will it affect his image and career?
Did it ever happen to you that you started to dislike a star because of his off screen personality which you get to know from TV,Internet or Newspaper?Did the reverse happen to you?

It depends on the controversy.
Like for example..

-Shiney and the rape case...controversy?..Yes.
Did it affect him?..Yes. But in a bad way. Will the audience want to watch his movies? No. Will a director or a producer want to make a movie with him? No. True or not, has my feeling about Shiney changed?...Definitely.

-Ranbir and Deepika breakup.
Controversy? Yes. KWK episodes definitely boost their breakup. The fact that they are working in Ayan's next has affected them. But in a good way of course. People will go watch them specially since they know they broke up and they want to see how they look on screen now. It just adds extra attention to the movie.

So yeah..it depends on the controversy but it DEFINITELY affects things. Good or bad.

I know this forum goes crazy when Salman's crimes are mentioned, -_-, but i definitely changed my mind about him in the past couple of years. All that shizz is just crazy.

Deepika and Ranbir's controversy affected them a lot.They were in every local newspaper and every channel.They just become a household name.Even older generation get to know them.But somewere it affected Ranbir's image.It ruined his good boy image.

It really depends upon the controversy for me. Cold blooded lying and using when you don't have to is just a sign of an ugly human being and no, I don't want to add to their financial support.

Rape is inexcusable.

Being swept away by passion...well...now that's human and causes as much suffering to the person in the throes of it as to anyone else so I give 'em a get out of jail free card for that since it really can't be avoided at times and I'm human too.
