I kinda agree with Abhay.
I like hearing new songs and everything, but i hate when im watching the movie and i'm really into it and then a song comes out of nowhere! It has NOTHING to do with the storyline & is just a "daydream" of either the hero or the heroine.

Whenever i go to watch a bollywood movie in theaters, the song coming on is the cue for everyone to go and get popcorn or go to the bathroom 😆

Yeah, you are right...He's too laid back and he certainly doesn't have a boyish persona which obviously makes him all the more attractive. I can take him over all the Ranbirs and Imrans anyday.

BTW I never knew you need a 'boyish persona' to pull off dancing..I wonder what Amitabh Bachan and Hritik have been doing all these years because they certainly do not have a 'boyish persona'...

Grapes gone sour? Please! The dude has been doing pretty well for himself without the routine song and dance sessions. He was offered plenty, but he stuck around long enough to choose scripts that convinced him. He has given some relevance to "parallel" cinema in India. 7-8 years ago, only Irfan Khan, Rahul Bose, KK Menon et al did these and people were least bothered about it. But with Abhay's arrival, the story has changed. Now youth collect his manorama dvds, they flock to the theatres to watch Dev D and Oye lucky lucky oye. Almost, all his films have a huge cult following. What more can he ask for? He has garnered a decent fan following based on his own terms without succumbing to the routine song and dance that he despises. I say good for him for not compromising.

Thank god I removed my earlier comment that even my gardner looks better than abhay deol. 🤣 Well, I am pretty much a mango veiwer, I don't get whats so special about him! He is a below average looker with no charm! Not everyone who doesn't like him has to be attacked with a ROFL.. emo.. So spare me the torture! 😆
