| After mastering in dancing and acting this Kapoor boy is keen to learn filmmaking. But rather than joining any filmmaking school he has opted to learn the art from his father Pankaj Kapoor. Yes, Shahid is assisting his father Pankaj Kapoor for his forthcoming film 'Mausam'. The film will go on floor soon and Shahid has already taken his job as assistant director seriously. Being his father's directorial debut, Shahid is completely involved in pre-production work of the film. "Shahid is involved in various important aspects of the film - from deciding his look to locations - he is involved in each and every meeting," disclosed a unit hand. The actor who has chosen to work only on his father's film for the next nine months wrote on a social networking website about his busy schedule. He said, "I will start working with dad on our film. There is so much to do and I will be switching roles from actor to assistant director or whatever else I need to assist." 'Mausam' has been written by Pankaj Kapoor, who debuts as a director with this film. 'Mausam' will be shot in seven different countries and Shahid's role is said to be similar to Tom Cruise's from 'Top Gun'. |
