THAT is the one STERLING quality that he has-he was graceful in defeat too-he GENUINELY congratulated UD despite his own disappointment-even his sister said SUCH a nice thing when asked who she thought would win.Showed Tehzeeb & class

That I know. and also Mehek. It is the general trend I am talking about.

What is the general trend? Its just a matter of probabiltiies ... how many minorities were there as a contestant... ? If there are more numbers of others than the chances of them winning is more...
Why get minority card in this...

Minority card is not a major issue here. It is only one of the issues.

I am talking about the trend and pattern.

I am requesting the moderators to close the topic as it is useless dragging the same thing again and again and going in circles.

Autumn, please.

Sikhs are from the minority community. There is nothing to get heart broken over it, considering that Sikhs are over represented and successfull in everything despite their small numbers - whether it be army, business, farming etc. Even in Bollywood, Sikhs are slowly making their mark.

And Sikhs are not just Punjabis, I've seen Sikhs in Bihar who speak in chaste Bhojpuri ๐Ÿ˜†

Quite a few of Nepalis and Biharis have also adopted Sikhism as their religion. Go to Toronto and you will see White and Black Sikhs.

Vindu Dara Singh is a Sikh of Jatt ethnic group.

THANK YOU for all the information!
I KNOW all the figures & facts-being a Jat Sikhni myself!
What breaks my heart is the fact that the big crybaby belongs to this rather proud & fierce group-WHY/HOW could DARA SINGH's son turn out to be such a WEEPY WIMP?!!
THAT'S what I meant to say-sorry about the jumble!

Ok... then I guess cos 70% of the Indians including rurals watch these ddaily soaps and associate with the stars... so they do already have a vote bank... But new faces have to make a place in the hearts of the viewers and win their votes... one small mistake and they can lose these votes...
Besides Kekta Maiyya and tv personalities dedicate themselves to see that their stars win by ensuring good amount of voting...
