After watching Urvashi's interview, I need to change the thread title and first post again.

URVASHI ADMITTED THAT SHE DID MAKE THIS COMMENT. Don't believe me ? Go and watch the video , its within the first 5 minutes.

When she read this question, she got nervous as it was evident by her body language , fumbling on her words. And then she admitted that she said it. She basically said that she's had experiences with Bengalis that made her think like this. Then she tried to rationalize her stupid remark by saying that "Ofcourse I didn't mean all Bengalis" .LOL , any adult can tell its a cop out because she's been caught saying something really stupid that can escalate into something that can be career damaging.

So yeah, your season 6 winner Urvashi Dholakia isn't such a great person after all. She had flaws like everyone else in the house.

What a great trend BB is setting. Last year a contestant that said "I will show what a true Rajput is like" won and this year its a xenophobe.

Urvashi has admitted to saying it in herself in her exit interview. What more proof do you need ?You don't trust Aashka , but do you trust Urvashi talking about something she did ? Or you only want to believe what makes you comfortable. Kinda like the Imam fans who are willing to ignore his strip tease. You can hear her admit to saying that about Bengalis. She said she's had experiences in life that made her think like this about Bengalis.

Start at 2:10

This is from my first post:

Watch the live feed interview starting from 2:10. Aviroopghosh_13 asks her about the comment on Bengalis. Urvashi admits to saying that and tries to rationalize it by saying that she's had some experiences that made her think like this and that she doesn't mean "all bengalis".

Ofcourse when she says "I don't mean all bengalis", its bullshit because she is now looking to use that as an excuse to get out of this ugly situation.

I guess you are comfortable in saying this because you are not a Bengali in all likeliness.
Nope no rule like that, but can't you see how dangerous this statement is ? If everyone started using their free will to discriminate and judge people based on their ethnicity without any moral block, where do you think you will stand in the world ? Do you have any friends of ethnicity different than your own ?What if they start using your ethnicity to judge you ? I can assure that if everyone was allowed to use their free will to discriminate and judge each other based on ethnicity in a country as diverse as India, the country will self-destruct in a day. This is precisely why her comment is wrong and should be condemned, its setting an extremely bad example in a country that's already struggling with regionalism and communalism.

Thank god your logic does not work in real world. Otherwise, the life of all Desis living in west would be even more miserable than it already is and all based on some irrational fear and distrust of brown people for whatever reason.

Any racist remark is unfortunate!

I hope Aashka was merely making it up!.

LOL, Urvashi has herself admitted to saying that now. Watch her exit interview from 2:10 onwards. Aviroopghosh_13 asks her about that comment.

All the speculation about Ashka lying is out of the window now.

Shayantani herself said Aashka said it. And Urvashi clearly mentioned she never pinpointed on bengali or generalized she only commented on Shayantani not being herself.

1. Shayantani probably said it the first time because the clip (from the 1 hour show) isn't very easy to comprehend. She made a mistake, it can happen. A lot of people even on this forum and social media thought it was Ashka who said it. Later on everyone retracted and realized that she was quoting Urvashi. If you watch the whole clip in context, its clear Ashka is talking about Urvashi and her(Urvashi's) reasons for disliking people. I posted the entire text transcript for that conversation.

2. You are mentioning in your own statement that she mentioned that she didn't want to generalize. That in itself is agreeing to the fact that she said it in the first place. Whether she wanted to generalize or not is another debate.

Urvashi clearly said that she has had experiences with Bengalis in life which made her think like this. Then she said "Ofcourse I didn't mean all bengalis" which means she said it in the first place (in the past) and now she's saying that it was not her intention to generalize all Bengalis.
