Earlier I should've posted this in a more relevant thread like this one -

I always had a feeling she wasn't what she was portraying herself to be and had a little suspicion that rajeev wasn't anywhere near as much at fault in their relationship as she was making it out. The new revelation is simply a testament to that.

There is generally more to people like her than it meets the eye. What we have learnt is that she is the greediest person there (typical irani member). She can go to great lengths for money, such as falsely claiming things on national tv to make herself look good/ look like a victim in the eyes of the public and tarnish the image of her ex-husband at the same time and therefore improve her chances of success. What is worse is that she totally blames rajeev for talking about their relationship to others without any proof whatsoever when, in fact, she is the one who has openly not only talked about their relationship, but also made rajeev come across as a failure of a husband. She is largely responsible for a general bad perception of him among the public.

Previously, she claimed that she had mainly divorsed him because he was a zero contributor in the income of their household. Even this is a bit of a far-fetched reason to divorse someone, but now that it has proven to be a false claim, you wonder how bizzare her reason was exactly.
Having said that though, Rajeev has mentioned about a particular 1-2 yr bad period in his life quite a few times where he even considered suicide. It may have been mainly that period that was the reason for her divorcing him where the guy was simply out of work and going through mental distress and she perhaps wrongly suspected him of certain things. We don't know.

There is another trait of her that has come out just recently that I really don't like. During her fight with urvashi, she loudly, proudly and condescendingly said that if she didn't win, no one else deserved to either. I have put it very mildly and it just points to a person who is quite egoistic but does not reveal it.
She truly has been repressing her emotions in the show and whatever information that has come about her outside the little bubble she has created, it has not been good.
