'I was the prey they wanted to hunt'- Kashif Qureshi

'I was the prey they wanted to hunt'- Kashif Qureshi

Kashif Qureshi, the aam admi of the Bigg Boss Season 6 house bares his heart while sharing with Tellybuzz his two week experience in the house.

Salman Khan had said that the Bigg Boss house was like a zoo and the inmates are like animals. You however said that it's like a jail. Do you think it is both a jail and a zoo?

I think the Bigg Boss house is a blend of a jail and a mental asylum. Half of the contestants are mental and the other half are trying to be mental.

I am a psychological counsellor by profession and an avid spiritualist. I would like to discuss topics like astro-physics and quantum physics with them but they weren't simply interested. They would instead talk on very flimsy topics.

Do you think you were discriminated against for being a common man on the show?

I felt that in the beginning. Initially a few of the contestants were simply giving me second hand treatment. Urvashi Dholakia, Rajev Paul and Niketan Madhok discriminated against me.

It is not just you but others who also lost their temper, however the viewers and inmates seem to be pointing fingers just at you...

When the Nawabs would go for hunting they would kill a tiger in the jungle, stand on it and click a photograph. I was like the tiger of the Bigg Boss house. I was the prey they wanted to hunt. Only one hour of the entire day is shown on TV. People just don't have an idea about how all the contestants irked me 24 X 7. If you are provoked all the time you will lose your cool.

Who is your favourite inmate in the Bigg Boss house?

Apart from Delnaaz Irani and Navjot Sidhu Singh nobody else is nice. Sidhuji behaved very well with me. It felt nice when he told me that I wasn't like a cooped pigeon, rather like a falcon who would fly in the sky- a person who would fight for his rights. His words of praise touched me. Delnaaz is a sweet, straight forward and an original lady.

Who do you think will win the show?

Navjot Sidhu Singh

Who in the Bigg Boss did you not like at all?

Sapna Bhavani and Rajev Paul.

What is wrong with Sapna?

Sapna is a very obnoxious lady. She has quite an attitude and also calls herself mad. She looks down upon long haired Indian women who wear covered clothes and taunts them to be traditional. She seems to regard women with short hair and revealing clothes as smart. She goes on boasting about her celebrity clientele.

What is wrong with Rajev? Do you think he really loves Delnaaz?

Rajev Paul is artificial and an animated person. He is very camera conscious. I can't understand if he is genuinely loving Delnaaz or if it's simply an act.

Do you think your stay in the Bigg Boss house has been a positive experience too? Will this help you in your career?

Most of the inmates in the Bigg Boss Season 6 house were fake. I however was very original. The show did give me instant fame. Before I entered the house I was a nobody. I was very happy when a group of four to five girls were elated to see me after I came out of my house and took my autograph too. Fifteen lakh people had voted in my favour. In the second week I behaved very calmly, therefore people had started liking me. I was touched when Salman Khan praised me. He told me that I was like his younger brother. In Hyderabad they have put up a huge hoarding with me on it saying that I have made them proud since I am original. Yes, my Bigg Boss stay should help me in my career.

You once said in the Bigg Boss house that you felt mentally scattered, what exactly did you mean by that?

I had been working hard throughout the day. I wanted to rest just for a while. Sapna Bhavnani then called out to me very rudely and ordered me to wipe some spilt tea. There's a limit to what I can take mentally.

Dinesh Yadav told me that though you are a common man you simply don't have the qualities of one, please comment.

It is his point of view which I respect. At the same time I must say that I am disappointed. I thought he liked me. However I have heard that he has criticized me on leaving the house which really hurts me.

Bigg Boss 6: Common man Kashif Qureshi eliminated

New Delhi: After Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav, Kashif Qureshi is the second contestant to be eliminated from 'Bigg Boss 6'. Kashif was the only non-celebrity member on the show. Kashif failed to make any friends inside the house.

30-year-old Kashif is a martial artist from Hyderabad. Apart from Navjot Singh Sidhu, hardly any contestant was seen talking to him after his argument with Sapna Bhavnani and Niketan Madhok.

Kashif Qureshi had a soft corner for model Karishma Kotak. He even called her the fresh fruit from the Garden of Eden once. However, he couldn't be nice to other contestants for long and was seen fighting with others. Vrajesh Hirjee, captain of the house for a week, asked him to help the kitchen team, but he failed in that as well.

Kashif Qureshi and TV actor Rajeev Paul were nominated for eviction this week.

Kashif Qureshi and TV actor Rajeev Paul were nominated for eviction this week. With Rajeev in the house for atleast one more week now, we can expect a few more fights in the kitchen.

'Bigg Boss' season six started with 15 contestants including celebrities like Navjot Singh Sidhu, Urvashi Dholakia, Sana Khan, Sampat Pal, Sapna Bhavnani, Delnaaz Irani and others.

Bigg Boss 6: Delnaaz Irani has moved on in life and has no patch-up plans!

We are back to discussing the not-so-happy divorced couple Delnaaz Irani and Rajev Paul. But they make enough noise to keep us interested!

Bigg Boss 6: Delnaaz Irani has moved on in life and has no patch-up plans!

Last week, things got a little out of hand for Rajev Paul. Amidst another argument in the Bigg Boss 6house over coffee, Rajev tried to hold Delnaaz Irani's hand to calm her down. That didn't go down too well with the estranged wife. She gave her ex-husband a piece of her mind. Ahem ahem… Looks like Delnaaz is finally losing her cool with Rajev.

When Bigg Boss was offered to Delnaaz and Rajev, everyone hoped that the show would help the divorced couple get back together. Clearly that hasn't gone according to plan. Before entering the show Delu was clear that she wasn't looking back. "I am happy, single and divorced. Rajev is just one of the other 14 contestants for me, nothing more and nothing less. I have moved on in life, so I hope people get that once and for all," she insisted. We get it, but our query is – if money, fame and patching up are not the actor's agenda on the show, what is? "It's a tribute to my late father Mehelli Irani. When Bhaktiyar my brother was in Big Boss in 2009, my father wanted him to win, but he couldn't, so my going into Big Boss is a tribute to my father. I believe in karma. What goes around, comes around. I am going with a positive attitude. I can't fake it."

Now that's something we find a little hard to believe. Tribute or no, Delnaaz has a motive, like all the others in the house. Here's what we think could be the reasons for her presence:

She's in the show to teach Rajev a lesson… Now that we like!

Delnaaz could be using this as an opportunity to establish her single status – 'Single and ready mingle'. Any takers?

Perhaps Delnaaz is planning to produce her own movie and play the lead, so that's why she wants the money. Awww… poor girl! Rs 1 crore is not enough to make movies nowadays, dear.

Or maybe Delnaaz has the hots for Aseem – now that would be something interesting to watch out for, no?

Bigg Boss 6: Kashif Qureshi calls house worse than jail

New Delhi: Kashif Qureshi, who went in as a common man into the Bigg Boss house this season, has been evicted at the end of the second week of the reality show.

A martial arts enthusiast, he was selected from among a number of applicants who wanted to be a part of the sixth season of the Colors show. He was the second person to be evicted from the house, after Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Yadav.

"I'm thankful to god that I have been evicted. I would have gone mad inside. I am relieved to have returned to civilisation," Kashif told PTI after stepping out of the house.

He lost his temper during one instance in the first week itself and after being chided by the show's host Salman Khan, mellowed down quite a bit. He says that was the reason the audience did not vote for him.

"My eviction is fair. I know what I have done. In the first week I shouted, and then I fell silent. I went into a shell. The audience did not want me to keep quiet. There was a lot of pressure on me inside. I got confused," he said.

Kashif, who hails from Hyderabad, said he had met Salman as a fan earlier as the Bollywood actor is very popular in the city.

"I had met him before as a fan. But meeting him on Bigg Boss was like a dream."

Kashif said he is not disappointed to have been evicted within two weeks as it was getting difficult for him to stay inside the house.

"It is worse than jail. There is no care and affection inside the house. The other contestants are busy faking it. They used to tell me that my image is getting tarnished and pressurise me," he said.

He joined the show in want of fame and Kashif says he is glad now people know him. "People know me now and I am sure that opportunities in showbiz will come my way. I want to do action roles since my forte is martial arts."

Bigg Boss 6 :Did Sanjay expose Salman's connection with Sana ?

Since the time Sana Khan has entered the Bigg Boss house, there has been a speculation that it is only because of Salman Khan's reference that she is a part of the controversial house.Recently Sanjay Dutt (dear friend of Salman Khan ) had visited the house with Sonakshi and Ajay Devgn to promote their upcoming flick 'Son Of Sardar'. They had a gala time on the sets and Sanju baba revealed some Salman's secrets out .

According to a well placed source , "Sanjay Dutt asked Salman who is the special person in the house , and Salman diplomatically replied yes all are good. Sanjay was in mood to reveal some secrets out and said yes all are good but Sana is beautiful."

As we all know that Salman and Sana have done a footwear ad together. In the first episode of Bigg Boss itself ,Sana proposed Salman Khan in a unique manner. Not just that , she was also seen flirting and dancing with the Dabangg Khan. Sana became a popular name after she was featured in the Amul Macho ad with the tag line ' Yeh toh bada toing hai'

With Sana openly potraying love towards Salman and Sajay Dutts revelation about Salman's Sana connection, Does that give a indication a new love story is brewing in Bigg Boss house – love story of Salman and Sana !

Bigg Boss 6: Salman, Sonakshi, Sanjay and Ajay set the stage on fire

Sonakshi, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt were at the sets of 'Big Boss 6' to promote their film, 'Son of Sardaar'.

The show will be aired on October 12.

For the first time these three stars are seen together in any film.

This film brings together Sonakshi with her 'Dabangg' hero again.

The film will be released on November 13, alongside Shah Rukh's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

Apart from Ajay, Salman is also trying hard to promote the film. This photograph is a good example.

Salman Khan will also be seen in 'Son of Sardaar'. His fans are looking forward to his cameo in 'Po po'.

The film is being produced by Ajay Devgn. However, his earlier production ventures haven't become much successful.

Sonakshi has given two big hits in 'Dabangg' and 'Rowdy Rathore'. Will she be third time lucky in 'SOS'?

Sonakshi is just three films old and has become a big name in the tinsel down, but she needs another hit to maintain her track record.

Sonakshi will also enter the Big Boss house and would interact with the housemates in order to promote her film.

The songs of 'Son of Sardaar' are already chartbusters, so Ajay Devgn would be hoping for a good finish at the box office.

Do you think 'Son of Sardaar' would give a good competition to 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'?

So, aam aadmi is finally out of the show... Aam aadmi ko hamesha baahar hee rakha jata hai, jahan se voh andolan karta hai!

Recently, there was a controversy that your entry in Bigg Boss was rigged and you knew Salman Khan beforehand... I heard about that. And the man, Hamed Saveri, who claimed that I was his trainer, is lying through his teeth! I may have met him in some party, but I have never trained him in my life and I don't him at all! The fact is that I'm a diehard Salman Khan fan and every time Bhaiwould come to Hyderabad, I and others of his fan club, would go running just to meet him. So yes, he had met me, like thousands of others that he meets every day. For the Bigg Boss' auditions, I shed blood and sweat and was selected purely on merit. Today, I have gained fame because of my destiny and hard work. Shame on those who are trying to encash my newfound popularity! Like vultures, they are feeding on someone else's gains!

You were sidelined by the celebs in the show initially... You know, a common man is quite in awe of the celebs who make him laugh and cry on TV or in films. But, when I saw the cheapness of these so-called celebs, I was horrified! Only Sidhu paaji and Delnaz are the real genuine people out there. Everyone else is playing dirty games! Even Aseem Trivedi, who was so sweet to me on my face, was the first one to vote against me!

And who's the most difficult inmate? It is Sapna! She screams, wears sick clothes and feels that an ideal Indian woman must sport a hairstyle and tattoos like hers! She was the one who provoked me the most and I finally lost control one day!

And who according to you, is the most shrewd player? Sana Khan is the smartest player out there! She shows only that aspect of her personality, which is good, and hides the rest. She's very smart, calculative and intelligent player, who is playing her cards well!

Bigg Boss was a madhouse: Kashif Qureshi

Bigg Boss Season 6 brought with it many new changes, and one of them was the entry of a non-celebrity in the house. Hyderabad-based martial arts expert Kashif Qureshi was the only regular person to be a part of the show. However, he was evicted in last week's eliminations. With his martial arts background, Kashif was enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge on various topics with other housemates. However, his eagerness was misunderstood and he got into fights with fellow contestants Sapna Bhavnani, Niketan Madhok and Urvashi Dholakia. "It feels great now that I'm out. It was a madhouse," says Kashif. He adds, "It was a horrible experience. No one can stay normal inside. You either have to be a great actor, a crazy person or desperate for fame and money to survive. I didn't enjoy myself as opinions clashed and there were spats. I also felt targeted by other contestants who are celebrities. They were insecure about me."

If he had so many reservations, why did he choose to enter the house? "Everyone looks for recognition and I went there to explore this opportunity. I feel more people know me now," he laughs. "It is my dream to be an action star. I am a martial arts expert and if I get a chance to use that skill in films or television, I am game for it."

Kashif feels Delnaaz (Paul), Niketan and Aseem have the best chances of winning. "Delnaaz is a sweet person and much like Sidhu Paaji (Navjot Singh Sidhu), she always treated me like an equal. The rest either consciously or otherwise, behaved in a condescending manner towards me. Niketan and Aseem are simple people. And since none of them are putting up an act of pretence, I think one of them should win," he says.

Bigg Boss 6: What saved Sana Khan from nomination

While all the housemates were planning to skip the nomination process this week, Bigg Boss asked them to name two people they want to be safe.

Interestingly, nobody voted for Sana Khan, Urvashi Dholakia, Sayantani Ghosh, Rajeev Paul and they automatically got nominated for eviction.

Navjot Singh Sidhu, the peacemaker of 'Bigg Boss 6' got the maximum votes.

Bigg Boss gave a last chance to the contestant to save themselves for eviction. Sayantani and Sana were asked to perform on a lavani number.

Looking stunning in a green saree, Sayantani tried hard to impress other housmates with her moves.

Sayantani Ghosh and Sana Khan performed on the 'Mala jau De' number from 'Ferrari Ki Sawari'.

However, when it comes to item numbers, its tough to beat 'Billo Rani' Sana Khan.

Urvashi Dholakia and Rajeev Paul enjoying Sana and Sayantani's performance.

Rajeev Paul and Urvashi Dholakia were asked to represent each other's perspective and enact their egg fight.

Urvashi and Rajeev's performance was hilarious.

Niketan Madhok and Karishma Kotak enjoying Urvashi and Rajeev's act.

Other housemates were asked to give them marks out of ten and put it in a box.

Sana Khan earned maximum marks in the task and she is safe from eviction this week.

After the task, frustrated Rajeev Paul was seen fighting with his ex-wife Delnaaz Paul.
