Expressing her shock over her link up with TV actress Aashka Goradia in the "Bigg Boss 6" house, model-actress Sana Khan says she is like her "elder sister". Now she admits being "nervous about people's reaction" towards her after her stint on the reality show.

The 25-year-old spent 97 days in the "Bigg Boss 6 house" and said: "I am nervous about what people think of me now that I am out of the 'Bigg Boss' house. But I do feel that I have become wiser by being in the show. You get to know the ups and downs in other people's life. I think I have made four to five genuine friends in the show.

Talking about her link ups with inmates Aashka and Rajev Paul, a shocked Sana told IANS: "I have been linked with a guy and a girl. I don't know why? I am shocked at how people linked me with Aashka? she is like an elder sister to me."

"I don't think we are modern if we need to tie a rakhi to someone just so that we can be friends? There was no feelings of love or anything between us," she added.

She was in the top three finalists of "Bigg Boss 6" along with TV actress Urvashi Dholakia and image consultant Imam Siddique. The show ended Saturday with Urvashi winning it and taking home Rs.50 lakh.

"All the top three contestants were deserving. I am so glad Urvashi won. She is a single parent and has struggled so much in life," said Sana who has worked in Tamil films "Aayiram Vilakku" and "Payanam" as well as Telugu movie "Kalyanram Kathi".

The actress claims that she maintained her friendship with Delnaaz Irani, Rajev and Aashka and never changed herself for the sake of the game.

"Since the beginning, I was friends with Rajev, Aashka and Delnaaz. I didn't shift according to the game... I feel this is why I am happier as I did everything from my heart," she said.

Superstar Salman Khan, anchor of the show, told Sana that they will work together in the future, and, commenting upon that, she said: "He just told me, but nothing is confirmed. But who will not want to work with him?"

My nature made me win 'Bigg Boss': Urvashi Dholakia

My nature made me win 'Bigg Boss': Urvashi Dholakia
Urvashi DholakiaMore Pics

Urvashi Dholakia believes it was her straightforward nature that helped her win "Big Boss 6". The actress bagged Rs.50 lakh as prize money, and admits she "never earned so much money at one go in my life".

"This is the way I am and how I have always been. You can ask everyone. I told them I never thought that I could last so long. My straightforwardness works against me, but today it worked for me and I won," Urvashi told IANS.

"I never earned so much money together ever in my life. I can say this openly and this is a big thing for me. And I am very confident this time.

"I believe in the philosophy that the more you run after something, the more it runs away from you. So, the money was not at all important for me. I didn't come here because of that," she added.

Do not pretend, suggests the 33-year-old, best known for playing negative role of Komolika in popular TV show "Kasautii Zindagii Kay".

"My personal experience is that be the way you are. You don't need to become someone else or have a split personality. If you are accepted the way you are, then it is good," said the mother of two teenage sons.

On the show, she faced criticism from the other inmates' family members. But Urvashi remained unperturbed. She said her motto was "not to use this platform. The platform gave me an opportunity to showcase how I am".

Talking about co-contestant Imam Siddique with whom she had several tiffs on the show, Urvashi explained that she noticed both positive and negative traits in his personality.

"Imam was playing a game and he claimed it too. I always believed there was a good and bad side to him. He has humanity but I can't understand his other side.

"So when that used to happen, I used to feel weird. I don't think anyone supported him from the beginning but me. All I told him was that he should (drop) this negativity."

Urvashi is open to work in films as well as television.

"Work is work... I respect all kinds of work. The industry has always been very welcoming. Even when I came after my separation, they accepted me and made me reach here," she said.

Since the beginning she was seen as one of the strongest contestants on the show. A single mother, she admits having some low moments during her stay inside the house.

"I got shattered at times, but then I resurrect my confidence. My career was written off in 2008, only by some people. My mother has taught me, 'What you sow is what you reap'. So whatever you do, do it after thinking nicely," she said.

She also feels that it is entirely up to a person how he or she deals with competition and problems.

"I am a human being and I have my low moments too... But this world is all about fighting for survival. Every field has competitors and it is up to you how to deal with it," she said.

Urvashi surprised at winning Bigg Boss, says Imam deserved it

For popular television actress Urvashi Dholakia who won the sixth season of reality show 'Bigg Boss' tonight, co-contestant Imam Siddique is the winner.

"I felt Imam would win the show considering the tagline of the show is 'alag che'. I did not think I would win. I thought I had no chance of winning," Urvashi told in an interview.

"I was also shocked when Delnaaz was out. I felt she was a strong contender and that she could win," she added.

Even though Imam was known to be picking up fights with everyone, "Imam is a winner as a wild card entry to reach till the finale ...it is a big thing. He is a perfect entertainer for the audience," she said.

Urvashi, who won Rs 50 lakh in cash and a trophy, became the third TV actress in a row to have won the controversial reality show.

Throughout her stint in Bigg Boss, Urvashi remained just herself - being straight forward.

"I was just being myself on the show. I was honest and truthful on the show. I never took sides and gave my straight forward opinion," she said.

Urvashi, known by her role as on-screen vamp 'Komalika', feels her journey on the reality show was a roller coaster ride.

"It has been a very nice experience. I learnt lot of things. Its been a roller coaster ride...there have been ups and downs. I have made new relations here like with Sana, Niketan, Mink, Navjot Singh Sidhu," Urvashi said.

During one of the nomination episodes, Imam had a spat with show's host Salman and he even said "time out" in his typical style to the actor.

I'm not a celebrity but sellibrity: Imam Siddique

I'm not a celebrity but sellibrity: Imam Siddique
Imam Siddique
Imam Siddique, who turned out to be a neck to neck competition for Urvashi Dholakia and gained the position of first runner up in the Bigg Boss 6 finale claims that he is a sellibrity.

Imam claims that he is a media person and not a celebrity, but also adds that he is a sellibrity, who means business. "I was not a celebrity on the show, but I would request media to call me a sellibrity as jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai," said Imam.

"I come from a middle class personality. I am not ashamed of who I am and people's opinion doesn't matter. I am not a celebrity, I am real. I can't go into the franchise of celebrity and I will say what I feel," added Imam.

"I feel more responsible now and there is no pressure on me. Every industry had its own demands and I am mostly like the way I was on Bigg Boss. Indian celebrities subscribe to battitude (bad attitude). I believe affirmations work and also in positive attitude," said Imam.

While talking about the entertainer in Bigg Boss, Imam said, "A format of this scale and I have never been in touch with Bollywood. When people try to get me battitude, I give it back to them. There are people, who hate me and there are people, who love me to death. But one thing is for sure you can't ignore me."

I had a huge emotional connect with Bal Thackeray: Imam

I had a huge emotional connect with Bal Thackeray: Imam
Imam SiddiqueMore Pics

He lost the finals of Bigg Boss 6 to Urvashi Dholakia, but Imam Siddique, who's enjoying his newfound entertainer tag, shares some interesting facts with TOI

He was loathed by most of the inmates in the recently concluded reality show Bigg Boss, but aam janta loved the method in his madness. He went to extremes when his temper got the better of him and cooled down soon enough. And it was this quicksilver temper of his that earned him votes aplenty from the couch potatoes and also the epithet of 'the best entertainer' - a tag, which came along with a cash reward of 5 lakhs. Post Bigg Boss 6, Imam is all raring to go, but amidst all this excitement, he gets emotional speaking about his "huge personal loss."

'Balasaheb called me inspirational'
There's pride in his voice as he says: "I will never forget the day when I was giving a performance of Ardh Narishwar on stage and Balasaheb Thackeray was the chief guest. After the show, he broke the security cordon, walked over to me and said, "Tuzha nritya baghun mala prerna milaali! (Your dance was inspirational)." Since then, I have felt a deep emotional connect with him. I admired Balasaheb and his forthright manner! In fact, inside the house, I was extremely restless once and got into myriad pangas with everyone. And when I came out of the house, I learnt that Balasaheb was cremated that day. I guess, my heart knew that something was terribly wrong!"

Marathi Manoos at heart
Interestingly, Imam speaks chaste Marathi, with all those ethnic nuances, which make the language so endearing. Compliment him on this, and he says: "I'm a Mumbaikar and a Marathi Manoos, so my Marathi has to be chaste! I'm also proud of the fact that I saved three foreigners at the time of Mumbai terror attack of 26/11."

Colors' reality show Bigg Boss is over, but for Sana Khan, the life is beginning to get even more interesting. We caught the young lass in a buoyant mood.

Life post-Bigg Boss is rocking for Sana, who says with a chirpy laugh: "I'm getting so many calls for work. But right now, I'm going easy on work front. At this juncture, I want to hire a proper artiste management consultant and then pick and choose the best offers. I don't want to say yes to a project in hurry and repent later."

The cute gal, already known in the modelling arena and for her foray in South films, is candid enough to admit: "Bollywood is obviously the next step for me! I wanted to look cute, hot and sexy all at the same time in Bigg Boss! How else will the Bollywood producers cast me in their films as the lead actress?"
Ask her what really went wrong between her and her friend Vishal Karwal, and Sana says : "He chased me for three months before the show. But, Vishal Karwal is not my friend now, and Bigg Boss made me realize that he was never a friend in the first place. And I thank Vishal for his comments on me after eviction."
