Why did Rahul temper with speaker/lights

Another reason could be that he wanted to go home (as he told some time back that he'd only planed to stay for 3 weeks) and he knew BB will nominate him if he tempers with speaker/lights.

didn't u see the whole episode It was clear ,, he did it because payal was crying and everybody said so

^^^ Ohh okay, I think he was speaking da truth

Rahul is not that fool that if everybody will tell him to do anything and he will do that......I think He only did it for Payal - it seems she was crying ( what drama !!! ) and Rahul became angry young man aur BB se panga le liya......

Payal ko saath hone par usko apni mandh budhi 🤡 hone ka ehsaas hota hai... isi liye aise harkat karta hain..

he said he did it for payal, but it was not for her.. coz she told him not to do that, and he cud have given her his thos eye-covers.

and others agreed with him, but they wont' take that responsibility too.

He did that mostly, bcoz it was kind of leadership.
And he always wanted to do that, it was for himself, coz he doesn't like those lights, but he got reason of 'girls' to strong his motives.

but the worst part is, he , himself said that time, BB i am ready, if u want to evict me, then it is fine with me, but i will do this.

and later, he was telling to camera in smoking zone, i won't accept any punishment for this.

And the final thing is.

He didn't get any punishment at the end of the day.
bcoz this nomination is fake. so BB spared him.

if BB was planning for this fake-eviction. then he didn't punish rahul at all.
Becoz BB knew, nomination doesn't matter this time.
And if by chance, he sends Rahul in the secret room.
then he will give one more advantage to Rahul for his wrong-doing.
