This isn't about the contestants so if you're here to bitch about them then wrong post.
I have been watching the show for a long time and for the life of me, I can't figure out why they call it 'weekend ka WOW' with Salman. Saturdays for me is the day Salman ruins every contestant's game plan. This is the day where morals and ethics in strict accordance to Salman Khan's preferences are preached. It is also the day where I completely lose interest in the show.
This being the first season of Bboss I have watched, I figured Salman Khan has taken the whole 'Heaven-Hell' concept a little too seriously and views himself as 'God' of this particular heaven and hell setting. Saturdays being this particular god's judgement day where he makes mere mortals stand before him and takes their deeds into accounting. But then I read on this forum that Salman has been biased in previous seasons too. He's had favorites that he's went out of the way for. It's alright to have favorites. Just as me and you, he's also a viewer so it makes perfect sense for him to have favorites but to show obvious preference ruins the show.
Why do I feel Salman ruins the show for me:
Salman is the only external source of information for the contestants so if he says something then it becomes the word of the bible for some contestants and they change their game plan. It was hilarious when Salman accused Kushal of influencing contestant's decisions because my question is: Isn't this what happens EVERY saturday. Maybe Salman felt that Kushal took over his job and that's not cool.
Salman has a fan following just as every contestant but in a much larger scale and his obvious preference is going to affect their choice as well. Plus, this is a mind game, Salman's obvious preference will ruin the game within the house. Many a times contestant's have changed sides and they've been called double dhol and what not but what audience needs to see is that it happens when Salman and his "Hindustan' speak on Saturdays.
Salman is the host of the show not the judge! He can ask questions. It's his job to connect the audience with the contestants so it's good he's asking questions but he cannot judge the intentions behind those answers nor can he get into petty arguments with contestants over who have they voted. He can ask as a host but not judge the intention behind the answer as a judge because 1)he's not being paid to do that and 2) he doesn't have the qualification!
MOST importantly stop throwing hissy fits every Saturday. It's dead annoying.
You are now free to argue, bitch, fight and slaughter one another 😊
