Wouldnt it be better if public directly vote the candidates whom they want in or out rather than the inmates nominating each other ?
Cuz at the end of the day,its the public who decides who stays and goes...
But the nominated ones are not always the ones public want for them to vote one out or in ..
It wud also be of a clearer view of whom public like and not...

If that were the case Armaan would go out in Week 1
Tanisha would go out in Week 2
Asif and Apurva will go till the finals.

Thats not how the game works; the bad triumphs over good in BiggBoss -- every season!

Then the purpose of this show will be lost.

Nominations play a very important role inside the house.

The game will become monotonous and boring.

Though i dint emphazise on who wud have gone, dats ur take upon it...
However i think it wud have been fairer for the public to decide who shud actually go or not

Actually it's more of the BB team that decides elimination and not the public...they only make money from public voting...the BB team wants to keep the troublemakers and evict the nice ones (coz they don't create too much drama)...that's the reason I believe Ratan, Apu and Asif (who apparently got highest votes a week before) are evicted.

I don't really know voting mechanics how transparent they might be.. But I feel the contestants which end up in finals are ones which create ruckus or just stay more active by any means necessary. The passive housemates are eliminated which sideline themselves from controversial arguments.

This raises the question of logic, that ones that do create ruckus are somewhat more entertaining compared to more decent housemates which are passive by nature and avoid issues. So it could be true that people do in reality vote more for the ones that are there to entertain by any means compared to those that are silent or calm in nature because they don't really do anything.
