I only have one word for both of them "BITCHY". The way both behaved for attention was very obvious, especially Gauhar's performance in every task was attention seeking.

I feel that its one's singular decision! Islam is not about driving anybody! They are mature enough to comprehend what's better for them! You can't compare individuals to check if they are fitting Muslims or not! Religion is your accept not your dress!

If you do enough research on Islamic teachings (my family is Muslim) , you will see Women are just portrayed as weak and inferior to men.
There are way too many restrictions from Islam that falls upon a woman if they try to be a good Muslim.
Gauahar and Sana may be habituated to say the Arabic words ? Like I am . It's normal in Muslim family dictions !
I'm sure they both have faith etc but they def don't represent urban Muslim girls.

Agreed.
Not to mention, they work in the entertainment industry so they have to be open-minded, they cannot afford to draw any lines or refuse to wear certain things/
I am sure they don't dress the same at home or when they are out with their family/friends.

I believe they dress the same way when they are with their own family...forget about Muslim family they do not represent Hindu's family either...May be India is changing a lot...I live in USA and have teenage daughter, she does not dress up like Gauhar or Sara at all. She is very moden but very sofisticated in her dressing and choose her clothes suitable to the occasion. Sara and Gauhar or most of the Telly actress wear trashy/skimpy clothes like here in US only trashy kind of people wear those type of clothes...May be Indians are getting confused with only one side image of USA and wants to follow blindly. Gauhar dress up very nicely most of the time...except sometime she wears very skimpy and trashy clthes...in the other hand Sara always wear trashy...😲

What is modern???
Modernity has nothing to do with clothes. Modernity is the use of new technology. If a woman wears a burqa, does it mean she is not modern. A woman with conservative can indeed be modern, and clothes should not determine someone's rate of modernity

You are right. They are not following Islam's instructions religiously.
But as someone said, who are we to judge them? I don't think as Muslims we have any right to judge or comment on any others belief.

One thing that I find interesting that no one so far in this forum have raised a question on Ajaz. He's also a Muslim and whatever he's doing in the show is not allowed in Islam.

Flirting with women, checking out them is not allowed in Islam.

But only a woman's every action is scrutinized but a man gets under the radar for the same deed.
Sexist much?
