I still maintain, the task was very badly designed. There is no wayy Chum or Vivian could remove the opposite bars without removing some or most of their own.

At that moment he did what he felt right thing to do. maybe he was overflown by emotion of doing wrong and did it. Taking TTF with a guilt, maybe he didn't want that. BE CALM!!

The religious aspect doesn’t come into play here in my opinion. Yes, Muslims swear on Allah and no one else, VD has said Allah ki kasam before when talking to AM so he does use it to emphasise that he’s saying the truth.
But here, VD is either not sure or knows that he moved his hand so he wouldn’t swear here. He’s also the type to explain to Chum that he only swears on Allah (not Layan etc) had he been keen to tell the truth so I really don’t think the reason for why he ignored that request was a religious one!

Okay cos I’ve had to stop/start.. I’m about to get on to the melodrama now
