It's very surprising to see how people have started calling an idiot just because he saved sajid over Soundarya

The fact is ankit has returned the favour to Sajid who actually saved him twice.

Soundarya is not even his good friend . It was her game to support Ankit in the task . She was the one who was bitching about him with nimrit few days back

I agree at this moment as Sajid is considered as the true villain of the house so Ankit is getting hatred and Soundarya has become a victim but I don't find his choice wrong or dumb . It can become an advantage for him further too in the game.

The only problem with Ankit is that He can't word his inner thoughts clearly hence get judged!!

BB ki harkatein dekh ke it's obvious to anyone how much Sajid is being favored and how evictions are being cancelled anytime he's in the nominations. So I don't think this one decision alone from Ankit is some defining reason for Sajid being saved.....BB waale are the ones ensuring he sticks around come what may.
