Why would anyone take pride in being a Siddharth fan? What has he done to have fans?

In 2005, he represented India at the World's Best Model contest held in Turkey, and became the first Indian, as well as the first Asian, to win the title beating 40 contestants from across Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

Made the nation proud.....and he has done a lot more to have fans. I understand that you dislike him, that is your personal choice. But don't try to belittle him by saying this like "what has he done".....because he has done a lot in life.

Well said... In addition, he has won many other fiercely competitive TV show competitions as well.

A very well known fact and surely the TM was discussing this only, my apologies

I would stick to my opinion on him, its not about my dislike for an ill mannered individual but I don't understand the concept of being proud of someone for doing something in Bigg Boss. Crime against women are not so low in India that we have a room to idolize Mr Aisi Ladki

Why cant a fan be proud of the star if he/she feels he has been fair, and logical in circumstances where people usually choose sides ? Why can't a fan be proud of a star if he has lived up to his/her expectations ? Now if somebody feels proud about something....for that also that person needs to be questioned....now other people will choose what a person can be proud of ? Did the tm asked you to feel proud ?...no, right....that person feels proud and has got every right to feel so. And no one incident defines a man for me.

I have seen people like gauhar khan normalizing aisi ladki this season....rashmi posting about it again as well and this time in a positive way......and i think rashmi did gave back well for the aise ladki thing he said at that time.....and now when she is comfortable and can feel excited to work with him again herself, why other people act like he is dangerous to women. I just saw this big boss season ....and i saw how much women were comfortable with him. What happened there was in anger and frustration....though i don't really support him in that....it was wrong for me as well. But i dont sit and connect that to crime with women either. You can continue to do so though.

And you had questioned that what he has done to have fans....i was telling you about his achievements in life....i don't think there can be a bigger achievement than making your nation proud . He got the country's name into the list for the first time which is big.

And now about idolizing ......it all depends on what you idolize in a person. I think we all are educated enough to know what should be idolized and what should be not and have our own understanding of it. He has a lot of qualities in him which can make people love him....for example an acid survivor victim came for just an episode in the show and a connection he made with her was that strong in those few moments that the girl supported him for the win after that ...He also acknowledged her support and is supportive of her activities now to support acid attack victims. That should be idolized...people should make genuine bonds like that and more people should support acid attack victims. People trust him to an extent that when one of his fan needed a hospital bed for dad and she was not able to find it in mumbai....she tweeted him....and that guy responded ....contacted the person and arranged a bed as well....this helping nature should be idolized......more people should come out to help others in times of need.

When devolina was suffering from pain in the house.....he was the first one to leave wkw thing to drop her to her bed first.....and then when everyone was busy saying bye to their connections.....he helped the girl and dropped her to the main door carefully. That should be idolized. He was the one who looked after rashmi when she was crying missing her mother ....he offered her water and was rubbing her hands to give her himmat at that time ...even when they aren't fond of each other.....that should be idolized. And there are thousand more things like these which he does and thus it is very easy for people to idolize him His aggression needs not to be idolized....that is his shortcoming. Now it clearly depends on the person in front what he/she wishes to choose. You continue to dislike him....i have no issues....but no need of questioning people who like him. Like you have your reasons to dislike him, they have their reasons to like him.

Sweetie

I am not going to read such a long post, Thank You for your efforts

As I said I don't understand the concept of pride in other people's accomplishments, especially when it is in a television show where good behavior is forbidden and bullies are encouraged.

It was not about how you understand things....what you understand or not understand is completely your thing. I am not trying to change your understanding of things here dear. All i have been trying here is to request you to not question others on what they feel and understand. Like you hold the right to have an opinion on things your way...others got the same right too. I hope you understand.
