Why steal food

I just don't get it... why would KV steal the food and share only with his friends. I overall like him for the person he is, but just don't understand this attitude. While Rohit was blamed for stealing something over WKV, I think he pointed that KV gave it to him for hiding. Things like bread, sugar etc.. I don't want to judge him, but just don't understand this behavior.

Yeah seriously why are all these people hiding food? It's like they are in the jungle where first come first basis chalra hai 😆 and save the leftovers for next meal

They get limited ration and share it among themselves equally like bread, milk, eggs, etc.

This stealing thing is one of the reason because of which he lost respect. Actions like these define one's character.Its not as if he is poor who will not have access to food and luxury stuff once the show is over. So why act like a deprieved and bhookha person. Why not act with dignity.

I think they are hiding food because the kitchen team doesn't ration well.
I've never seen so much halwa ever being made. Obviously they'll run out of sugar. So for some people's taste buds why should others sacrifice? Hence they hide sugar.
Maybe some housemates drink too much coffee and there's hardly any left for another contestant or bread for that matter.

Of course I don't encourage it, but I understand the situation. This has happened in every season
