All of a sudden the temperature dropped as Pratap glared at Uday Singh- his eyes speaking the warning for them to stay away while US literally backed a bit seeing the anger flaring in the eyes that had him scared. Demon warriors' protective stance was enough to scare the spirit realm soldiers and Chetak returned in time to stand beside his master. The irony of the situation was not lost as every civilian was standing behind the demon warriors and not the spirit heads

He turned his back as unconsciously Ajabde's hold on him tightened as she snuggled into his warmth and they walked away with the girls accompanying them to the demon realm. The legend had started to unfurl TD thought and now it was time for all of them to wait and watch for it to come true.
Chapter 8
The Demon world was exactly like the human world except for the yards full of greenery and dark clouds with lighting and thunders breaking down every few minutes- they were all seated in a small eatery that resembled an old age dhaba. Pratap had gone ahead with Ajabde and Balwant as they needed medical attention while the others took the scenic route to make their transition into the new realm easy on the new companions. Subho and Heer were exhausted from the travels, unknowingly Chakri found his shoulder being used as a support while Heer leaned against Akbar. Akbar had felt his heart thunder like mad when he had first seen her but he had controlled himself as he wanted to be sure about it- after being stabbed in the back by the females of his family including his badi ammi Mahamanga and the girl he thought he loved Ruqqaiya he had closed himself emotionally so as to not allow anyone to ever hurt him but Heer's presence was causing him to open up a thing he didn't like at all.
Seeing the girls sleep they all decided to use that to their advantage and reach the palace as soon as possible- Chakri carried Subho while Akbar hesitated so Shakti came to carry Heer but Heer held on to Akbar's shirt so tight that as they tried to move her a frown came on her face forcing her to get up
Heer looked scared on seeing Shakti so close to her
Shakti: Sorry but we need to move
Heer nodded her head and realised that she was holding on Akbar's shirt
Heer: Sorry and then she joined the others seeing her apologise pained his heart but he resolved not to show his emotions to anyone unaware that one guy had seen it all and was planning on making him face his feeling pretty soon
At the Jaiwanta Bai medical centre Pratap paced the corridor outside the VIP room where Ajabde was being treated by their best doctor Krishna who was in all ways was like a sister to him and HansaBai was being looked after by Khetu another member of the medical team. Both Khetu and Krishna were Panna Dai's wards now Panna Dai was Uday Singh's caretaker but not many knew that she was also his mother's confidante and in every sense a mother figure and since his birth had loved him like her own grandchild. When the realms were being divided she chose to come with them leaving his father all alone in the spirit realm after he had ruled him and his brothers as demons.
Krishna came out from the room watching Pratap stare at his imprint's sleeping form from outside. She knew the feeling of seeing a loved one in pain not that she was somebody's imprint but she had never allowed herself to meet anyone since they all had come to the demon world- her entire focus had been on making sure her family including Pratap, Khetu, Shakti and others were fine and also there was no way she could be somebody's imprint that boon was snatched away from her when the spirit soldiers had captured her and took away everything from her. Pratap turned to look at her before she could call him out
Krishna: Dada Bhai she's fine. I have given her the oxygenation treatment also ran a toxicology screen on her and she is perfectly fine. Exhausted but fine alright
Pratap: Thank You Krishna
Krishna: You're welcome Dada Bhai besides she's family and we protect family
Pratap nodded his head when he suddenly remembered - Vikram and Sagar
Suddenly Vikram appeared shouting Maasa and Dada Bhai with Sagar following in his father Rann Singh's arms playing with his virtual toy stick. Vikram ran straight into his mother's arm while Rann Singh greeted Pratap and his sister-in-law
RS: Baujiraj everything is calm but I'm certain that the spirit world must be planning something
Krishna: Do you think they'll attack?
RS: I don't think so but even if they do then our defences our impenetrable. They won't be able to cross the dimensional gates and they have no idea about the other entrances

Sagar had seen his mother Khetu talk to a nurse about some treatment and started calling out to her. She gave him a smile and walked towards them
Khetu taking Sagar in her arms: Dada Bhai Hansa Baisa is doing well but her diagnosis isn't that good.
The doctor in Krishna kicked in: What does the blood report reveal?
Khetu: Jija her WBCs aren't making antibodies thus she's vulnerable to every infection. At the moment I have placed her in the solitary bubble to give her a sterile infection free atmosphere
Krishna: Alright start her on an IV and administer WBCs and platelets as well. If her own WBCs are not generating antibodies then her platelets won't do their function properly
Khetu: Ji Jija
Krishna: Dada Bhai I'll send food for you here. Please eat it alright and don't worry about the guests
Pratap nodded his head as he walked into the room where his imprint was resting. She looked peaceful was his first thought her hair were spread open on the pillow while an oxygen mask was placed on her face covering her nose and mouth making sure that she was getting enough oxygen for her lungs and tubes were attached to machines whose beeping confirmed that she was healing. He sat by her side held her hand in his allowing him to feel her and also to let her know that she was safe with him
Legend says that imprints are connected telepathically that the connection is always there but it becomes stronger once they are united in every way. Pratap knew she could feel him subconsciously so he sat the entire night focusing his energy on her guarding her and also providing strength to get better soon because they both would fight against the enemies together.
