CHAPTER-7

(bijoliya palace)

Hb was glad to receive her daughter and son-in-law.Kp&ajab took her blessings by touching her feet.Both the mother and daughter couldn't stop their tears from falling and they embraced each other lovingly.meanwhile kb greeted kp.

kb:khamma ghani jijusa.

kp:ghani khamma kb,kaise hain aap?

kb:hum bilkul acche hain jijusa.aap batayiye,aap kaise hain?aur haan,aapne humari jija ka dhyan rakha ya nahi?(turning to ajab)jija aap janti hain,kitni yaad aa rahi thi humme aapki.aap humse milne nahi aa sakti thi pehle?accha aap hi batayiye,jijusa ne aapka dhyan rakha ya nahi.yadi inhone aisa nahi kiya ho toh hum bhi inhe nahi chodenge.

ajab:(pulling kb's ears)natkhat! aap kitne bade ho gaye hain.kintu ab bhi aapne shaitani karna nahi choda.

kb:voh toh hum kabhi nahi chodenge.

kp:(smirking)ajabde,aapke bhai aapke pati ko daat rahein hain,aur aap inhe kuch nahi keh rahin.

ajab:ye sahi hi toh keh rahein hain,kp.aapke paas vaise bhi humare liye vakt kabhi nahi hota.

kp:accha?

ajab:haan,haan aap toh sadaiv anya karyon mein hi lage rehte hain.apni patni ke liye vakt hi kahan hai aapke paas.kb,khoob datiye inhe.

kb:yeh hum kya sun rahein hain jijusa?

kp:(holding his ears)hume shama kar dijiye kb.

kb:accha,accha.aap kehte hain toh hum aapko kshama kar dete hain.kintu ab aap yeh galti phir nahi dohrayenge.

kp:(bowing)ji hukum!

And they all laughed heartily.

kb:jija,aapko kuch yaad hai,parson kya hai?

ajab:(pretending)nahi toh.kya hai?

kb:maa,aap hi batayiye inhe.

hb(innocently):hume kya pata kya hai kb?

kb:maa,aapko bhi yaad nahi! ab hum aap sabse rusht hain.jab tak aapko yaad nahi aata,aap humare paas mat aana.

And he turned to go.

ajab:(blocking his way)ruk jayiye,bhaisa.hume acchi tarah smaran hai ki parson bijoliya keh pyare se samant ka janmadin hai.aur maa ko bhi hai,kyun maa?

hb:haan,hum toh bas parihaas kar rahe the.aap chinta naa karein,humne dawat ki bhi tayariyan prarambh kar di hain.aur iss baar to kp aur ajabde bhi aapke saath aapka janmadin manayenge.

kp:haan,haan kb.

hb:kp,ajab aap dono apne kaksh mein jayiye aur kuch samay vishram kijiye.tab tak hum aapke liye bhojan ki vyavastha karte hain.

kp:ji maa.

After having lunch and taking some rest,ajab went straight to her mom and inquired about her well being and also the well being of the people of bijoliya.After all she was bijoliya's baijilal .Hb in turn scolded her for not taking proper care of herself.

hb:ajabde,kya awashyakta thi aapko yahaan itni door bijoliya aane ki?aap maa banne wali hain,aapko apna dhyan rakhna chahiye.aur yadi ab aap aa hi gayi hain toh kam se kam ab aapko kuch samay vishram kar lena chahiye.

ajab:maa,hum jante hain ki aapko humari chinta hai.kintu humme bhi toh aapki yaad aa rahi thi naa.aap hi batayiye kya aapko humare yahaan aane se prasannata nahi hui.

hb:prasanna toh hum bahut hain.hum ab nani banne wale hain na.kintu ajabde,humme aapki bhi bahut chinta hai.hum mante hain ki hume bhi aapki kami khalti hai kintu hum nahi chahte ki aapko koi bhi pareshani ho.

ajab:isme kaisi pareshani maa?hum toh bas aapse milna chahte the aur isliye yahaan chale aaye.kp bhi aapse milna chahte the maa.ab aap humari chinta mat kijiye,hum bilkul thik hain.

hb:haan ajabde,kintu aap abhi jayiye aur kuch samay vishram kijiye.

ajab:nahi maa.hum aapke saath rehna chahte hain kuch samay.aapse dher saari baatein karni hain hume.

hb:toh aap nahi manengi kyun?accha thik hai aap kuch vakt humare saath hi rahiye.kintu aapko baad mein vishram karne jaana padega.

ajab:ji maa hum vaada karte hain.

And mother and daughter chatted on various topics ranging from kp's surprise gift for kb to bijoliya's issues and much more.

Friends, i apologize in advance for the late update.As i already mentioned i was out of station and was unable to update.😊Here is the next update just for you all.😃

CHAPTER-8

Today was kb's birthday.Preparations were in full swing in bijoliya for his birthday celebration.The little samant of bijoliya was now turning 13.A grand feast was being prepared at the royal palace under hb's strict supervision.She had sent invitation to the whole of bijoliya to be present at the grand daawat that afternoon. Kp and ajab were the guests of honour.Both hb & kb were happy to have them on this wonderful ocassion.

Hb was not even allowing ajab to help her in preparing food for the guests.She insisted on her taking rest .Ajabde hated relaxing especially when it was her brother's b'day and there was so much to be done.Instead she wanted to lend a helping hand to her mother.In order to distract her,hb sent her away to freshen up and get ready for the jashna.

Ajabde had just taken a bath and her hair was all wet.She stood in front of the mirror and was trying her new dress to be worn at the celebration.She was constantly trying to tie the lace of her chola but was unable to do so. Meanwhile kp saw her from a distance and was completely lost in her irresistable beauty.Ajab too realised the presence of someone in the room.She mistook kp for her mother and called out to him.

ajab:maa,kya aap humari sahayata kar dengi?

Pratap did not utter even a single word.He was totally shocked at her for calling him maa and wasn't able to decide what he should do next.

ajab:maa,aap iss tarah vahaan kyun khadi hain?aayiye yahaan aur humari sahayata kijiye isse bandhne mein.

Pratap stepped forward to tie the dori.As soon as he touched her bare back,ajab was startled and she stood up immediately.

ajab:kp,aap...aap yahaan kya kar rahein hain?

Kp made her sit back on the chair and turned her face towards the mirror.

kp:ajabde,hum toh yahaan chandrama ko dekh rahe the.Aur uske saundarya ko nihar rahe the.

ajab(blushing and smiling):ye aap kya keh rahein hain kp?

Meanwhile still looking at her,he tied the dori slowly.

kp:aap kitni sundar lag rahin hain aaj ajabde.

ajab:sundar toh lagna hi hai humme.aakhir humare bhaisa ka janmadin hain.

kp:accha?toh aap unke liye sundar dikh sakti hain.humare liye nahi?

ajab:aisa humne kab kaha kp?

kp:vaise humme toh aap sadaiv hi sundar dikhti hain.

ajab:(blushing)kp,aap toh aise hi humari tareef kar rahein hain.

kp:nahi,nahi ajabde,aap janti hain naa ki hum kabhi asatya nahi kehte?

ajab:(changing the topic)vaise aapne humme jis uphaar ke baare main bataya tha kb ke liye,toh kya hai voh?

kp:voh toh aapko jald hi pata chal jayega.aap humme humare uphaar ke baare mein batayiye.

ajab:kaunsa uphaar?

kp:humare jivan ka sabse bada uphaar jo aap humme dene walin hain.humari santaan.sach kahein toh ab aapko ek pal ke liye bhi aapse door rehna hume bilkul accha nahi lagta.

Saying so he hugged her tightly and began to caress her cheeks.Ajab somehow freed herself from his clutches and got up to go.Kp held her hand tightly.

kp:hum aapko itni asani se nahi jaane denge ajabde.

At the same time hb called out to ajabde.

hb:ajabde,aap tayaar ho gayin?shighra yahaan aayiye,humme aapki awashyakta hai.

Kp instantly left her hand and ajab left the room smiling at his sad,innocent face.

All the inhabitants of bijoliya were present at the feast and everyone thoroughly relished the mouth watering delicacies prepared by hansabai and the others.People had all kinds of wishes for their samant.all of them prayed for his long life and well being along with the other members of his family.They were exceptionally happy for ajabde and her child and wanted her to be happy all through her life.

Meanwhile pratap headed towards kb and asked him to go with him.

kb:kya hua jijusa?

pratap:aap chaliye toh sahi humare saath.aapko swayam pata chal jayega.

He closed his eyes with his hands and led him to the stables.Then he removed his hands leaving kb awestruck .There stood before them a magnificent black horse which was well-bred and handsome.It looked healthy and kb couldn't wait to ride it.

kb:(pleasantly surprised)jijusa,yeh humare liye?

kp:haan kb! yeh hain baadal.humme ummeed hai ki aapko humara yeh uphaar pasand aaya hoga.

kb:pasand!humme yeh bahut pasand aaya jijusa.hum abhi jaate hain aur iski sawari karke aate hain.

As kb headed towards the horse to ride it,kp & ajab looked at each other with a deep sense of satisfaction in their eyes.
