Zee guys have no ettiquette it seems. They are trashing Contiloe's show like this. The same Contiloe that gave them JKR which got them awards from prestigious bodies like FICCI and which they now boast of as one of the shows from their anmol khazana on Zee Anmol! They show JKR almost whole day on Zee Anmol!!

This man had also said in same interview that current no. 1 DABH has high propensity of a downfall as it is on its peak now (so I guess in his mind there is only downfall after peak hain? How did he think DABH's peak was gone?) and since their show is on a high so it will be no. 1 soon.

It is fine to celebrate success of your show. But in this manner?

It seems they are tasting this kind of success after ages since Amaanat. This is why going so brazen!

@anu: wo bolte h na insecurity at its peak. Wahi bat hai yaha bhi. First thing is their show isn't historical, naam wahi rakhne se kahani historical ni ho jati, when der produces claims every now and then why are they desperate to compare it with legendary show like MP? MP is getting all the appreciation for its genuineness and portraying true history. Jealous ones should check themselves rather than making remarks on genuine shows

Anu don't worry such shows which has intense love story abt angry man and sweet girl clicks a lot till confession happens. Let them enjoy by defaming us

I am not worried Pari. I just found it really bad on their part.

I know why JA clicks. It's a love story and has many other characters that are strong and interesting from engaging viewers point of view. I have watched it, pointed flaws in history/facts but still felt they had all ingredients to engage viewers.

I've never trashed it or compared two shows. All shows have their own strengths and weaknesses.

I am not worried about MP ratings much either as I can guess why it suffers drops or enjoys highs.

That said it's really bad of other parties to defame this show when it is not even in same slot, nor are the stories comparable. MP lifted Sony's fortune in fiction department and despite no conventional TRP mata drama it kicked channel topper BALH's butt. I am happy about it.

I know how and why this show can falter if it falters later. I am just hating this unwarranted comparison and bashing!

This Zee guy could have ended it when he said they are doing their own thing and we are doing our own. That would be more graceful instead of blurting this crap in the end!

Maybe this is also happening at behest of Balaji. Their show Kya Hua Tera Waada was axed to make way for MP and their BALH was earlier top on Sony now it's been kicked by MP. Also, portrayal from Rajput POV might prove others who took Mughals' side as traitors and disgrace to their land. Perhaps they are wary of future track in it (success or not, notwithstanding).

And attack on DABH is a given as no Balaji show has been no. 1 since 2008 whereas they've enjoyed top position with K serials for years before that. Zee has got this type of success after Amanat (1998-1999). Both channel and PH are itching to regain past glory and hence taking jibes at other shows.

Successful people should behave with dignity instead of being obnoxious in conceit of success.
