And i did answer your question, maya was genuinely trying to change. She got arjun through showing him her beyhahd love n saving his life which was when he realised he loves her. With VM, she did not use any manipulation (not that she cud anyway) bcuz she was trying to be a good person, doing it the way VM wudv hav liked. You tell me had she done manipulations n used tricks then the viewers wudv been the ones complaining maya never changed. when she left the wrong path to try n get VM acceptance the right way, u hav a problem...n had she done it the wrong way evn then u wudv had a problem... //sigh// n the onus is more on VM not on maya...maya has led a wrong life n she knows that, shes trying to leave it all behind ( n she struggles cuz she dsnt know hw to leave it all behind) n as the adult who for the love of her son cud accept the marriage at first, why cudnt she lsn to her son n the voice of an abused child instead of listening only to ashwin the man responsible for maya's bad side. Samay's dialogues don't really exonerate maya. He only mentioned it in a way we already knew what the truth was. He also told saanjh that he had been following her way bfr cuz he knew that she was the way to get to maya. I think maya found out samay is with saanjh n thn continued to use her fake love to get him to as she bids..thats my take...but again here cvs have alot of explaining to do...tho i doubt they will anytime soon cuz piyush is now doin another show so unless maya is going ot explain the hwole thing to arjun we wont know anytime soon.

yes yes maya is aware of how close they are but she also knows that saanjh apart, arjun holds no feelings for her as a lover. And how would such a friendship be treated by Dusky and Shubh? Although, I think, before the appearance of Dusky, and even more so Shubh would not have come about
