In many soaps this is how the story goes, there is a rich boy, he has a rich female friend who loves him but he does not love her. The two families want them to be married. The families hate the poor girl who fascinates their rich ladla. They try to force the rich friend down his throat and try to poison the boy's mind and prevent him from further falling into the witches trap.

To me Beyhadh is basically that, the only difference is Maya is rich and Arjun and Saanjh are middle class. Today was unbelievable. How could Vandana chastise Arjun for gifting a dress to Maya? How could she chastise him for not gifting one to Saanjh? W*F is Saanjh's hisse ki haasi? She does not own Arjun. Arjun never claimed such rights on Saanjh! Who gave Saanjh such an monopoly on Arjun's friendship when he openly claimed that she is not his only friend, Maya is his friend too!

Absolutely agree with you here. Todays fight was not required at all, it was an over reaction on everyones part. I cant believe they spent 20 mins of today fretting over why arjun didnt give a dress to sanjh. I mean why? she doesnt own him, neither does she have a copyright on Arjun that he has to buy everything FOR her, eat everything WITH her, have fun ONLY with her. This is beyond ridiculous! She hasnt even confessed her feelings to arjun, no one even cares about arjun's feelings here and everyone is pretty much planning their honeymoon!

Like seriously, yesterday's fight was totally ridiculous n uncalled for, sanjh is NOT his wife for gods sakes, someone should blow a trumpet and announce dt on sanjh nd vandana;s face, sanjh should telly arjun abt her feelings but she knows arjun dxnt reciprocate those feelings, shez just being opportunist nd tryin to take advantage of d situation as much n as long as possible, n the way things are going shez gonna be d one at suffering end cuz of her own choices, she and vandana should get a life seriousy

W*F is saanjh hisse ki hassi ? And what do u mean by arjun can't handle relations ??
She's clearly mad.. for a damn dress she said all these exaggerating words like he betrayed his wife & went to give gift to his gf... LOL
They already married saanjh to arjun & arjun don't even have an idea abt it... Crazy ppl

By doin dis, deyre actually separatin saajun even more, by irritatin arjun. he himself directly said 2 saanjh dat he can hav fun wid any1 & dat he isnt tied 2 her freva!!

Makers r just confusing us... There is no consistency in the characters... One day dy say sumthn gud n next day sumthn bad. Itz like dy want to keep all d ends open to steer d story d way dy want.
