Oh Man, what a classic & promising beginning to this show. NO wonder it began with a bang & 2.7 TRP in its first week itself. The quality of this show was on a completely different level altogether. It's rare to see ITV shows beginning on such promising note with everything in balance.

Execution, symbolism, dialogues, chemistry, mystery, thrill, plot, characters, all was so perfect.

Don't know in so much progress when we lost our BP to this stupid channel. It has been indeed been such a long journey. Ani Sir created a class of a show in terms of everything with this marvelous cast & layered characters. Every cast member gave it's everything to these characters to show those layers.

I wish if there was a time machine, I could go back & ask Ani sir to consider a different channel for their show, so that he could have gotten to show his story & we could have gotten to see his work which he planned for 3 years.
It's so disappointing to see this show like this in this state today after that mind-blowing start with such promising ride in the world of AdiYa.

Even in this mess, he managed to keep the essence of the show intact. He managed to keep Aditya & Zoya somewhat intact.

This show was about Aditya & Zoya. It's rare to see shows which are about journey of their leads. Never did it focus too much on one character. It took 2 characters together in it's entire journey & also took other characters too along with them in such a beautiful manner.

Aditya-Zoya became AdiYa. From strangers, they became lovers & soulmates who chose each other for their sukoon. From being selflessly devoted to their respective spouses, they devoted themselves to each other through ups & downs of this journey.

They made us laugh, cry, feel pain, get angry along with their characters. They brought us together not just as AdiYa fans or JenShad fans but as people who walked with them in their journey throughout the show.

Where did this BP go & now it's going to end tomorrow. And I am so sad. There is a void I can't seem to express & it will always be there whenever I will remember this show. It will always haunt me on how this show was Adhura Alvida in every sense. The characters of this show weren't just characters but something much more which deserved their true closure & we as fans too deserved it.

There is only one show that made me feel like this- Channdragupta Maurya on NDTV Imagine. Whenever I remember that show, it reminds me of that incompleteness & now, BP will always remind me of incompleteness whenever it will cross my mind.

I wish I could read the original story of this show to bring myself at peace, something that explains & provides closure to this beautiful yet thrilling journey of Aditya & Zoya. No matter what closure they show in episode, it will always be incomplete.

Why did I get so attached to this show & now it's incompleteness is haunting. There are only some characters whose end has haunted me. This abrupt ending is nothing short of haunting. There are only few shows I have followed from beginning to the very end- but none of them was so haunting as this. Since all of those shows had provided closure to each character of their show. In BP none of the characters got their proper, deserving closure. None of them, except for a few. And it creates a void so terrible to feel & overcome.

When I saw the first few episodes it genuinely looked out of a movie. The cinematography in mussori and the plot the pace everything was so well executed. It's a shame we couldn't see the full potential of everyone involved.

I agree with your entire post (and esp with these lines).
BP did so well in not only creating/shaping AdiYa (who are ❤️) but also the other supporting characters too. (Attention to character development reminded me of a show called Kya Kasoor hai Amla hai- which too had Rajesh Ji).

I was just rewatching the AdiYa meet in Mussoorie when they both wanna buy the same mini-gramophone. It's so cute and fun and nice to watch.

The ending is gonna be so so abrupt. I think ArNoor will have a more natural end than AdiYa. -_-

Agree about ArNoor.

Amla was a great show. It's too bad it didn't air for long. Fatmagul was a masterpiece with its supremely flawed characters & Amla writers did a good job trying to recreate that in India. Turkish writers do a great job with writing flawed characters. They did it in Feriha, Fatmaful, Ask-e-memnu & so many other shows of theirs. No wonder their shows are so mature.

There was one more on Dil Sambhal Ja Zaraa. It too had a very mature plotline but didn't air because of it's theme & audience doesn't want to explore the grey characters. We are so much about black & white characters that we fail to see grey of them.

beautifully written...i agree with everything...it truly was a beautiful show in every sense. such flawed characters...but also the beautiful souls too...

i'm gonna miss this show so much...and really wish we got to read the original script to see how it should have been.

hopefully we can keep this place alive. this place has become really important to me and i hope we can still come here and relive these memories.

Despite some illogical moments here & there, it was worth watching. Human beings have illogical moments in their real-lives as well. And it was there.

A writer who worked for 3 years on a script for sure wouldn't ruin it himself if not for an external interference. Had channel not interfered, it would have done great by all means & BP would have had this top-notch story with closure.

i can bet money that the biryani competition was channel interference! there is NO WAY that a writer who wrote the first episode...who wrote the episode adiya was stuck in zosh office during the riots...would write the biryani competition scene.

Even Paak Rishta track. It didn't make sense. But Colors has love for justifying such concepts. They did it in Dil Se Dil Tak & again with Silsila.

Arshad must have been brought for some time but they dragged him for 1.5 months upto the wedding day. Those Janmashtami promos about Adi being slapped & Zoya saying Dhoka has to be Colors for spicing things up. PH won't promote their show with female lead saying Dhoka & Paak Rishta for 5 episodes.

These are the same writers who wrote Maya & Saanjh who was the third wheel in ArYa's relationship & never did they justify Saanjh. They actually focused too much on Maya's own insecurity.

i'll be honest...thought i didnt care for the actor who played arshad...i was fine with the whole zoya-arshad wedding track. it shouldnt have been dragged that long, BUT i enjoyed seeing zoya going through that pain and realizing her love for adi...and adi being on full passionate majnu mode

Does anyone know Anirudh's email? Maybe if we all email him about releasing the BP story, perhaps as a novel... we'll all be buying it on the first day it launches. I'd really love to read the original story.
