So is this how trp is calculated and the channel/pH generates revenue?

I came across this video on YouTube and don't know how true it is but according to this the majority of the revenue comes from advertisement. BP did have a low trp but I never saw lack of advertisements for it indeed some big names like Manyavaar and Vodafone were also associated with them as sponsors. I actually don't think budget would have been a issue for BP. Even though the trps were low the show has been quite popular.

And in the end of this video it says that how the PH gains a huge amount of revenue from the internet too like depending on the views, so in that case BP should not be in a problem at all because all of it's YouTube videos has more than 1M views plus for the online trp it has always been in top5, so they must be generating some revenue online.

So I actually feel that even though JENSHAD are very highly paid actors I actually don't think budget will be an issue for the ph.

Can anyone who is aware of the business of the tv industry verify this? Is this actually how it works?

I am commerce student so this i know ph main revenue comes from advertisements which comes in between breaks and also if any brand advertises its product in show like manyavar and vodafone sakhi did their promotion in show.
As for social media, i already told in other thread that views per post count on youtube, insta and twitter and they generate revenue according to views. Like if you see bb ki vines and other youtubers, jitna mujhe pata hai they generate revenue from how many people subscribe their channel and how many views per post are there. Similarly how many subscribe colors on youtube and views per post decide revenue.

Again it depends on time slots, 9 or 9.30 was better off for a ph like CVS
10.30 slot rates decrease and it is directly propotionate to trps.

For a two weeks i remember when it did air at 10.30 all i got to see was
Promos. Where as Roop and Sisila even at 10 and 11 has good brands.

Each channel has its own way of calculations, ad rates are not fixed, even on websites what a channel actually charges depends between them and the sponsor.

I wish that BARC ceases to exist but pvt cable operators like dish and airtel do not give their data to BARC so those 30000 meters and the officials who tabulate data are responsible for everything. Only they know what they are doing.
