Expecting too much from Sagar?

I was thinking, and wondering why Sagar didn't trust Vidya and why he was behaving this way...For a normal adult we could say that he should trust his wife over an outsider, but don't you think in Sagar's case we're expecting too much?He has after all an eight year old's mind..

Piaget's theory:

Preoperational Thought (2 to 8 years)

At this age, according to Piaget, children acquire representational skills in the area of mental imagery, and especially language. They are very self-oriented, and have an egocentric view; that is, preoperational children can use these representational skills only to view the world from their own perspective.

So, taking into account his mental state, he is the way he is...Remember how hard it was to convince Sagar of not being afraid of fire, of getting him to be friends with Sameer...Sagar's mind is in such a state, that it will view only from one angle..Eight year olds can be extremely stubborn...and sagar in a way (okay so most definitely stubborn)

It will be hard to make him budge from his perspective..He may not have the thought to think, that if Vidya is wearing the same sari as the person putting Sameer, in the boat, then it could be someone else...So in a way, him to mistrust Vidya is justified taking into account his mind...

I feel like I've been blabbering psychchology with no distinctive explanation, but...you guys get what I mean right...

Keep smiling...

Love

Soni

Great topic...and very well said...hmm for a second i thought i was sitting in my psychology lesson..although i hate psychology there are things which are worth learning about..

I agree Sagar is a child, not an adult... we need to understand that children always want things to happen according to them, and if they dont they react in various different ways..come on dulhans even we did such things in our life once upon a time, or for some we still may be like that..lol... i can onli talk abt myself..im 17 and i stil act lyk a child, and when things dnt go my way i gt pretty annoyed 😡 😆 😉

anyway i think what u said soni is right... we can only judge sagar's reactions when he becomes normal..but for now lets jus cuss surili and sindoora 😆

omg you hate psychology? 😲 I absolutely love psychology!😳 yup, if children don't get things their way, they may react in ways that suits their personality...

it's hard to defeat one's strong conviction...

I act like a child when I watch Surili succeed in some of her useless, baseless plans...😆 Yea hopefully, Sagar will behave reasonably with Vidya when he gets well..aah, bashing SS are favorite hobbies now...😆

Ahh Piaget!! Remember learning about him in Philosphy.

No but seriously, I totally agree with you Soni! Kids are stubborn and once they see something, they're adamant about it. They don't have the knowledge to look deeper in to the matter. But at the same time, kids are also manipulated easily, either by love (Vidya) or by cunningness (Surili). They take things as they come, don't THINK too deeply about it.

I feel bad for feeling angry with Saagar. He's still my cutie! 😳 AND we all know how much he loves Vidya! His heart is pure as gold. 😳

I agree, they don't think too deeply about matters and it's really not their fault, after all they will react in the way their mind think.. aah...he truly does love Vidya sincerely..😳

Wonderful topic Soni ji, love your way of analysing it, cho true..!! 😃

Yap, I know, even my mum was telling me that at this age that children keep trust as a very important factor... and they usually tend to believe someone quite easily when it's convincing... so first of all, if this is what the BMTD writers are thinking about, then hats off to them for going into depth into it, and for you Soni ji for helping us think about it..!! 😳 😃

I still lub Saggu... hopefully Tusshar will help !! But.... Tusshar may have been Sagar's best friend before Sagar's accident.... hmm ?

i agree with ur theory Soni!

I love psychology as well n im hoping i would get into tht course come 3 weeks time! 😆

Anyway, Saagar's mentally still a achild so to him everything is as simple n clear as crystal..he sees whatever is on the surface...he doesnt look beneath thts why he is able to suspect on Vidya very easily..totally innocent of him to do it n its not his fault...Sur n Sin are taking advantage of thsi innocence in saagar n fasaofying Vidya in every occasion thy cna find!

haila soni..first take a bow 👏 👏 👏
i didn't get a word like phyco or what as i never studied all this..i am stuck in my world of computers..maths and stuff 😕
but glad that u've explained it so well!
sagar is innocent child who is trusting his family members like every child do so its not his fault..but Sin and Surily(besuiry) 😡 are the real culprits!
and Tusshar will help Sagar i am quite sure of 😳
