If Mangala had it in her to take on Akheraj she would have done it long time back.Way before the little baby entered that house.
She did not have it in her to take him on openly she did not have it in her to use that Chaku on Akheraj. She gave it Nandini and told her to use it if necessary why did she not use it against Akheraj?She is telling Nimbli to kill or cause grievous injuries to Kundan if necessary then what stopped her from doing the same to Akheraj?No she is scared of using that Chaku and she is scared of fighting do or die battle.
She thought life living like a slave is better than death - She'd rather live life in sub human conditions rather than fight and die like a human being.
But did she accept and embrace those conditions like Harki did? No. She doesn't like it yet she doesn't do anything.You can only pity those kind of people they are not really fit for admiration.
Well Anandi had support which people keep harping about. But support or no support she never stopped from doing what she thought was right. She was very young and scared of what police might to do her parents so she lied. But she learnt that marriage is not about food fun celebrations and good clothes.Life is lot tougher after marriage.She saw those kids lives being screwed up when things went wrong for them in their sasural.Champa was dumped by her in laws she had no other way out of that life.Little Anandi was as ignorant of the ways of the world as that Champa was.But she ransacked her piggy bank and gave all that money to little Champa and told her to get away from there and make a life for herself somewhere.It is another matter that Champa didn't have it in her.
She did a much better job with Phooli because by then she realised that child marriage is bad even her husband is good friend and Sasuma and Sasurji are angels all thanks to Dsa and her methods. She couldn't get out of her child marriage but she made sure that Phooli got out of it and got education. Yes Bhairon supported her endeavours and he didn't do it because she was his bahu but he did it because he thought was doing the right thing by supporting Anandi's cause.
Would Anandi have been successful without Bhairon's help ?Probably not. But would lack of support stopped her from doing what she thought was right? No.She would have done something which is messy and landed herself and Phooli in trouble. But at least she would have had the satisfaction of trying to help somebody.
Dadisa's mindset changed with time.What made her see that she was wrong? After all she had been following all these traditions beliefs which were in existence over hundreds of years.She followed them and she still had a succefull life. Unfortunate events happened in her life even before Anandi entered BH as BV. She bore all of them saying it is Karma so what made her change her mind? Who forced the lady to think about these things and forced her to look at them with a different perspective? Anandi with her constant questioning made her think.That little girl didn't have the power to go against that lady but her constant questioning made the lady walk the little girl's way. Anandi's life changed because of the change that she brought in that old lady's mindset.
Anandi was barely literate when she opened that school. Where was the need for her to open that school? Dadisa was against villagers were suspicious her then husband ridiculed her efforts.Why did she have to face all that? She could have chosen to walk Sumitra's path and be a bahu content with cooking and house keeping and pressing Dsa's feet and probably husband's feet too. Why did she go against Dsa and the village to start a school?Yes Bhairon acted as a buffer without Bhairon Singh she may not have been successful or would have to climb uphill but lack of Bhairon's support would not have stopped her.If she could do it despite Dsa's opposition she would have done it without Bhairon's support.
She screwed up her life by not agreeing to divorce out of her love for Singhs.But that didn't stop her from helping others who wanted to fight for their rights. She chose a different way to fight for her life by making a new life for herself a life which her estranged husband wanted to be part of.But she didn't let him in and it was a virtual slap she delivered. That was her way of fighting.But fighting she did even though it is different.
People keep harping that she had Bhairon Singh standing by her like a pillar and she had Dsa by her side later on she had Shiv. But would they have been able to do anything good for her if she was not willing to help herself???? No. Bhairon Singh later on Dsa then Shiv they were her resources and she used them to make life better for others.They supported her not because she was something to them but they wanted to be part of the good deeds that she had initiated.They made contributions in which ever way they could.
Her constant questioning despite all the punishments and harsh treatment she got from Dsa made Dsa re think about her own beliefs and their relevance.That's what made her life in BH easier
Her dedication and love has earned her place in the heart of Bhairon and Sumi.Would they have been so nice to her had she been like that brat Sanchi? No.Sumi would have tore her hair in frustration.Their love was not unconditional to begin with.
Shiv fell in love with her but he made her his partner only because she had everything he wanted in a wife.Of course he was everything that Anandi could have ever wanted too.
Don't think life and things were handed to her in a platter like people would like to believe.She earned the good will and love with her ways and she used the support and the strength she got from that support to help others who are in need.
Like Leaves said we were a nation living in slavery for centuries not just under British but under the invaders from almost every part of the world. It took Mahatma to take on the invaders who were ruling the country in his times.People joined him not because he was Mahatma but because they believed in the cause he was fighting.They believed in the good work he was doing.They saw hope for themselves by supporting his cause. That was the reason he was succesfull in his fight against the mighty rulers of his time.
Not everyone is capable of taking initiative but a lot of people will come in support of the person if they believe in the cause or if they themselves see some good in it and want to be a part of that good work.
Mangala needs help to fight Akheraj in the right way whether people like it or not Mangala doesn't have it in her to take him on and she needs help to take him on need effective methods and not fake devi ma act and 2 inch knife😛 If Mangala has it in her to make it she will take the help that is coming in her way.
Ganga yes she may have been foolish in running away from Rat but at least she had guts and used every opportunity that came in her way to become what she is today.She is an opportunist but there are people who are only too willing to put everything aside to be by her side and she used them unmindful of the fact who was hurt in bargain.Today again she is fighting to get a grip on her life which is slipping away from her hands even though her methods are not effective.No I don't call her grey.
People can say that Dsa and Ganga were foolish to run away but the fact is risks have to be taken when you believe there is nothing to lose and everything to gain. That's why Dsa and Ganga are in a much better position than where they started.
Sarita -what kind of a life she would have had if her husband and in laws could take her child without her knowledge to get her married? Did she sit there crying over her fate and daughter's fate and simmering against her husband and family seething in resentment? No she ran she didn't care whether she had help or not.She forced Anandi to help her and today Anandi may have lost her child because of Sarita but Sarita lives a much better life instead of living like a slave in her own home with people who were supposed to be her family.Yes Pooja's brains are scrambled at the moment but there is a chance that she will come to her senses soon and can repair her damaged life. She could have just sat like Mangala allowed her daughter to be married off and then sit and cry for the rest of her life.
Too bad if people don't want the writers to show the right way of doing things through the leads.But it is a fiction and leads make a greater impact on people's minds.
Nimboli's life is horrible and we admire the little girl for her spirit but the emotional connect comes from the fact that she is the daughter of couple who fought for people living in conditions like Nimboli is at present living.
Mangala would never help herself and she doesn't have it in her to do anything more for that child either because she doesn't know or she cannot do anything more.
Pooja got into a mess which is of her own doing but that doesn't make Pooja less than ideal candidate for helping others who are in need of help.If people can pin hopes on Mangala helping that little while she can't help herself then why not Pooja who owes Anandi a great favour doing something to help Anandi find her daughter?
