There was a story in my childhood about a ferocious snake who used to bite every one ..then a saint came gave her Gyan and the snake became too good even stopped hissing, then everyone who used to go by the road started throwing rocks at her ..Then after some days the saint came back and asked "what happned ""..the snake told every thing ..
then the saint told " one can't forgot who we are " ..Then the Snake started to hiss but not bite ,,then again everyone stopped hitting

I think the story goes to Anandi also who used to be tigress now became a cat( even a cat becomes a tiger when it is in a closed room)

Anandi should protect herself ( being Mum is not giving respect to elders but losing self respect )

when has anandi been a tigress? i have never seen anandi as a tigress infront of her family members. she is always meek and submissive when it comes to her family.
when DS asked kid anandi to burn her books to stop studying, she did that meekly, she didnt protest. she has never been a tigress when it comes to her family. she has always done what her loved ones want her to do. she never opposes them. she always wants her loved ones to be happy n she always sacrifices for them.

i defintely want anandi to speak out for herself. ive been saying it in evry post of mine but, and as u said urself "one cant forget who we are" anandi has always been like this. she has never been the one to fight against her family members.
she speaks out n fights for strangers n village poeple but never for herself.

I quite liked your post on importance of working. 😊

I think it was really inspirational when Anandi was working as teacher and later became Sarpanch. DS, Gehna and Sumitra were also educating themselves or refreshing their learning.

CVs killed it all to make Anandi the same housewife as she was in BH. Holding trays, bearing worst behavior or hiding flaws of brats.

I think Anandi should work and have some life of her own because if one has suffered such shocks in life earlier then one must be prepared for anything.

Thanks Skep.

I think your post cleared my vision of Anandi's current state of mind.
We all viewers are people with sound mental state. However we should not forget Anandi's past which is affecting her current acts and would keep on doing the same.

YES, SHE IS SUFFERING FROM INFERIORITY COMPLEX.

I think any girl in her place would. She is from poor family, her first marriage broke as her ex found her not good enough, she was attempted rape, she faced many tantrums from the villagers initially and then from Gauri. After divorce and her mother's death she really did not time to relax and think on her own. Another marriage and then Jagya amensia drama...

So somewhere she is trying desperately to save her second marriage. In the process she is losing everything. Her self respect, her career, her privacy and may be in future HER HUSBAND'S LOVE !!?? 😕💔

poorva, yes you are mostly true.

Though I watched BV on and off in so many years; the only time that I remember she spoke for herself was when SHIV CAME TO BREAK THE WEDDING WITH HER 😆😆

I always felt the writers have something against financially independent educated woman. I really thought after Anandi moved to Udaipur she will either go to college or continue to explore other areas. But all we got was she cooking, holding tray of water, making pakodas, folding clothes. I have nothing against house wives. Even house wife has a life other than always cooking, cleaning. They do have hobbies. Here none of the shekhars ladies have any hobbies. All they do is sit in the living room and eat. Earlier it was Singh's haveli. Now we have two sets of havelis.
Now I have stopped hoping Anandi will do something outstanding. The next track they will bring is her being pregnant or she moving out from haveli... Nothing in terms of her career. She will just be a collectors wife.

Thanks for your analysis redapple1.

I think they would show a temporary ANSH separation where Anandi would resume her career.

In order to elongate the story also to earn brawny points from rural and small town viewers the CVs did not show her working after marriage on her own. Even when she was in Jetsar she hardly went to the Panchayat after her marriage to Shiv.

Pregnancy track would come much later on 😊
Followed by Vikram track 😈

I have a strong feeling that she will come back to jeytsar and start her school again. Shiv will eventually come to anandi. I would love to she anandi this way. Few months they showed the new jeytsar collector being a corrupt guy. There is a reason to show that and may be anandi will fight for jeytsar people rights and shiv will help her.

Sheets, again back to Jaitser 😭. No... Same Singhs household, her getting involved in Jagya's life. If at all she needs to move, let her move to Bilaria. She can teach at her teacherji's school.

We have to accept that anandi, singhs and jagya will be together till the end of the show. If we have to watch BV have accept this truth. Singhs are first family and their crimes were never got into court till date but this time when they r not wrong such stupid court case to show that they are great people and shekhars are losers,

About Anandi: Why does she need permission from in laws to continue her career and why she needs to take care of the hale and hearty adult people at home full time. I can understand about balancing home and career when there are children involved who depend upon you and the elders are infirm and you have no responsible people to take care in your absence. In KB even daddu is hale and hearty and both mil's are relatively young and they are a very well off family with full time help so why does anandi need to balance home and work. She needs to just have enough time for her marriage and in that respect she is not doing too great even as a housewife too. I see her always doing household chores and not really spending any time on her marriage and Shiv and she never really go anywhere or spend quality time together. She needs to stand up for herself and respect herself before anyone else will. Charity begins at home and in this case she needs to start being charitable towards herself. She should not forget her dreams.
As a family I find the Shekhars more regressive than Singh's . In Singh household Anandi had more freedom to do things and be herself . At Shekhar's they just lead a meaningless existence .
I had high hopes from Shekhars and thought they would show a more realistic urban portrayal but I am disappointed. They don't even know right from wrong and totally suck at parenting.
