Yes the girl is not able to stand herself, without baishakhi of family, but trying to stand against everyone😆😆 so its necessary to show her place, and her limitation, otherwise she will hurt herself😉

In how many familes do we see a college going student barely out of her teens finding a match for her much older brother and also hold a very responsible job?

I am sure in many familes brothers do tell in jest to their little sisters that they will marry who ever their sister choses. But how seriously do people take that banter?Does that bind them to marry only a girl his sister has chosen for him??????

Here this grown up man who knows what is good for him or bad for him has a chosen somebody as his life partner his parents and other elders of the family approved his choice.

So what is Sanchi's problem?

Does she think that she knows better than her parents?How much world has she seen to know what is right and what is wrong?What makes her think that she is capable of making decisions for her family?She is still a student who lives in hostel and comes home for holidays.

They tried convincing her that the girl her brother chose for himself is good girl who very much suits his brother.But she did not listen.So Shiv had to step in and draw the line.

Again it is not the question of her liking or disliking A. To like or not to like a person you have to get to know that person and time will tell whether she will get to like A or not.

She may be upset and a bit disappointed by her brother's choice but she has no right to insist that her approval was necessary before they made that decision.

@elasingh i dont know whom you talking about what i saw about anandi its same girl who stand for shiv in mandir when urmi devi was talking against him.. and when shiv said no to marriage she is the one who made him realize that his decision is wrong she choose shiv.. she not side with ds decision at that time..

They truly hate Anandi.

I think their biggest disappointment till date is Anandi chose Shiv instead of Jagya.

They would have been more happier if she had chosen jagya. Now that she didn't they are seeing things ... Hallucinations...poor thing.

But this is what puzzles me. Why does she insist on it if she has no right?

Obviously shiv must have led her to believe that she DOES have the right.

and if he did so, then he had an obligation to go back to her and tell her that she does not have the right later on.

If you say yes to something and then change your mind, is it not in good order to go and tell the other person no?

If sanchi is still in the old mode, and shiv has turned into a new mode where he thinks his sisters approval is not necessary, then he has failed in his relationship with his sister.

If they had some original agreement, and he decides that the original agreement is no longer convenient or relevant, then so be it, but does he not have responsibility to convey it to sanchi?

right suchi. they are living in different word seeing from different angle how i able to make them understand..its bit disappoint some people raise issue for only hate... good help them.. aur kya keh saki hu... 😆

oh god..what shiv need to be done that time instead take a stand.. he is man of action and can tolerate that silly things..what he need to done that time ...yes . he should break a marriage said tata bye to singhs🤪.. ... he is right according to situation.. sanchi choose to ignore all the things that elder told her.. even samudai vivah not effected to her she insulted that concept.. what she done shout and insult all the members in family. .still shiv to need to offer her chocolate isnt it.. 🤪 and for her.. choosing bride for him its her ego.. then love for brother.. his choice is not important to her.. then what he did with it ok with me..

I do not think he has failed his relationship with sanchi. He has laid his rules.

He has stood up for whom he loves and his wife to be.

Sanchi was not listening to reason. She was bad mouthing Anandi just because she is from the village.

Now,

the point that you are raising, that Shiv must have misled her to believe that she indeed DOES have the right to choose her sister in law ... and then betrayed her does not hold true because

...

If you remember when Sanchi was First told about Shivs marriage. She reacted badly!

Reason: She thought her parents had chosen a girl for shiv.

but when she was told that SHIV had chosen the girl for himself. She was immediately fine with the idea saying

'aapnay pehlay kiyun nahi kaha'

She thought Shiv had chosen Ashima, whom she liked.

So, now

According to what you said Shiv had given the right to sanchi or led her to believe that , now does not hold true because, if that was the case then Sanchi would have said 'I did not get to choose Ashima. It was my right' rather its the matter about getting a sophisticated modern girl for shiv.

Ashima fit the bill so sanchi was happy with that.

The issue was never about sanchi choosing. It was about WHOM he chose.

So your argument about Shiv letting Sanchi down by promising her something and them taking it back does not hold true by her own accord.

Its a pure case of prejudice. She has hatred towards Anandi's gaon wali status. Anandi does not fit her bill of a proper bhabi that she can introduce to her friends as a show piece.

So I do not find Shiv's reprimanding Sanchi on this issue wrong. Nor do I think he broke her promise or misled her.
