Really? I didn't think everyone would think that the Choti Maa would be the one apprehensive one. She seemed like she was the nice, calm, and sensible one. I thought the actual Mom seemed to be emotionally driven...and emotional people are very sensitive to certain matters.

I think I should look at the video again.

BUT I really hope that no one is mean!

Oh DANG. Just saw today's IBN7 segment...and I am definitely wrong. Choti Maa definitely doesn't look like she's the happiest person...hopefully she gets over it once she sees how wonderful Anandi is.

AND I think this family is going to be the happy and funny type. Now that would be awesome!!!

Those expressions were to fool us.

Any family will have questions if they here their Dashingly eligible bachelor boy has chosen a divorcee to marry. In society divorcee men and women both are seen with raised eyebrows

Reactions were natural . .. but they will accept. The show has to present them as a progressive family now..

Of course they will be a bit apprehensive but once they get to know the whole story they will not have problems with her divorcee status.They may not see it as a social stigma.

If Shiv's mother is any thing like Shiv she may worry about the possible emotional problems her son might face in he future.

In future Anandi's concern for Jagya's welfare may cause some problems.

But I do not anticipate problems in accepting her because she is divorcee.

I dont think that the divorcee status will be of concern to shiv's mother.

what will be of concern to his family is anandi's zombie like attitude and her total unhappiness or indifference to shiv -- I am sure they will wonder as to what sort of wife she will be for her son with this kind of atttitude. It remains to be seen as to how good anandi is in faking her emotions in front of his family. We all know what it will be like in private between them.

No, they showed his father in the sbb segments as well. He was filming the engagement with his video camera. He is very much married to shiv's mom.
