I just read that Sony is shutting down CID also😲😆 LOL I didn't think that was possible...CID is like Sony ka bread and butter...if they can shut down CID, they can shut down anything...seems like a major reshuffle going on in the channel's future strategy.

Anyone else get that feeling when you go back and watch an epi that they all seem 10 times more adorable?😆

Like I thought I adored them a lot first time around anyways but I didn't think it was possible to grow to love it all more...perhaps the contrast from pretty much every other thing on TV becomes all the more obvious, that's why...or perhaps it's just nostalgia coloring everything.

I just really miss watching these two talk to each other...their natural, endearingly quirky and softspoken ways...just watched the toota hua kanchaa and failure pahaad convo today...such a gem, that scene...can't be repeated enough.

And I realize in hindsight that there was a small arc back then too...lol Meera built a fire for him when he was feeling cold and he returned the favor later on at the homestay when he comes to give her the kaadha...he lit a fire in the fireplace then to warm her up...

I remember being so immediately touched by the sheer goodness in Abhi as a character...goodness that wasn't the cloyingly, overly cliched types...but genuine goodness...and it still touches me when I watch an epi...his perceptiveness in noting that no one bothered to notice that Meera was still in wet clothes... even as Meera tries to cover up for her sister...atleast 4 times in that epi, Abhi reminds Meera to put a balm on her sprained ankle😆...his concern for her is unbelievably endearing.

The toffee scene❤️...the little pang when Abhi tries to shrug off the fact that there isn't any left for him but Meera determinedly shares with him...such unbelievably sweet kids these two were.

There are lot of things you like now which you didn't the first time when you go back n watch ..haina.
True about abhi. He wasn't the goody two shoes mahaan kind. He was genuinely a good guy with his weak moments where he shouts at his chacha or is frustrated at them avoiding work. The way he sorts a problem without getting worked up- only Abhi could have handled such a big family. The Meera - chacha chachi money issue- you see him calming dadi, sending the kids away, carefully questioning the elders . even in the last dadi heart attack scne- he's busy holding babli's hand, dadi's hand calming them down, genuine concern. Always fixing things up

The jungle sequence has to be the best thappad to all clich ' lost in the jungle' sequences on TV.
It's always been a two way street between the two Na. He genuinely cared for her got her kadha , she shares toffee. He helps with her allergy, she does with the wall thing. May be that's why we never had posts supporting one person and then the fan war begins of who is better than the other.
Editt- the jungle sequence was biggest example of- we don't need drunk leads to break the ice n strike a friendship😆

The jungle sequence was probably the time i fell in love with the show and Abhi-Meera.

I couldn't believe i was watching such heartfelt, heartwarming and beautiful conversations between the leads instead of 10 mins eyelocks and umpteen falling in arms sequences. And a lost in jungle sequence was actually used to establish an emotional connect between the leads.

Priyansh and Namita's effortless organic chemistry was also so visible in those scenes.

i don't know how many times i have watched those episodes

On Rerun,i am loving all the characters who annoyed me the first time around, even madhu chachi or ramaraj chachaor even kapil.
Rhea is still irritating 😆

The toota hua kancha and failure pahad should be the best scenes of the show after remote control wala scene

Sometimes it happens with me that i am watching the show and suddenly episode over ho gaya and i am like ye kya ho gaya???.And i look around me and i see that i am at my home😆
I get so lost in the show ki time aur jagah ka kuch pata hi nahi chalta

@bold-👍🏼

you know what now BBKD has raised the bar so high that now all other shows seems like typical cliche, OTT show to me.
I just can't like any of the show.I get irritated by all of them.
seriously, "tere jaisa sona koi, kahin nahi hona koi" suits BBKD.
aaj kal toh mujhe shows ke promo bhi nahi pasand aa rahe hai😆

That's a great point...lol so true...perhaps there wasn't enough time for things to get skewed and fanwars to commence😆...even though there was that time when Meera was being an utter tubelight, there was never this feeling that I just felt like supporting one over the other all the way...and that has happened many times before in some other shows I've watched...I've significantly preferred/liked one character over the other.

But with these two...it was a case of true equals...by the end especially I was veryyy hard pressed to choose who I liked more...there was this equal sort of warmth towards both characters...I think when the show started, I had a significantly bigger soft spot for Abhi...but by the end, I grew to adore Meera equally, if not more sometimes...and somehow it all just balanced out :)...I just can't pick b/w them now😆😆

The jungle scene is the scene which brought me back to the show after a phase of being irritated with it😆...they blew all my presumptions out of the water and delivered a fantastic set of refreshing epis...the icing on the cake was the debut of "Dil ki bhaasha" wala score😆
