Aug 16th: Connection and Dosti...Finally! - Page 3

Hi, finally got the time to reply..travelling abhi but couldn't not reply- especially when there is a free wlan in the bus 😆

I guess this is the connection you were talking about when we spoke about Monday's episode, that was missing...but was more than made up for in yesterday's epi... Like i had also said, the moment that Abhi begins to stop restraining himself, the connection will be more apparent and yesterday was exactly that...only once before has Abhi allowed himself to openly admire this girl- the first time he meets her and actually believes she is there to seek his rishta, that is when he allowed himself to be completely taken over by her (also the fact that he was totally smitten by her persona).. He blushed then and he blushed yesterday as well.. PJ was brilliant- subtle and just the right amount of emotions on his face.

Meera- yes, definitely smitten, definitely falling for him...uske mind mein he has definitel crossed the friendzone boundry now (ironic, since they only just became friendsbook waale friends 😆 ).. It is probably the first time she met someone who not only doesn't judge her for her lack of achievements, but tells her it is okay to not have ambitions for what you have inside is the only thing that matters. For now, i am happy about this, and although i am pro-choice etc etc, eventually i would like to see Abhi influencing her in understanding the aim of her life beyond her 6-month courses..be it anything at all. Her mother is right, she needs someone who would give her the right direction and Abhi could totally be that guy for her. Two times she shined through the episode was her teeny-tiny smile and blush when Abhi is so perceptive and accurate about the fact that she is talking about herself despite her "meri ek friend hai" waali kahaani, looks genuinely intrigued that he guessed it, but still so comfortable and not at all embarassed that he did... You are right, the contrast between her comfort level with Abhi vs that with Aman is very, vey obvious...and now i expect (hope) her to break off with Aman all by herself especially when she is sure of her feelings for Abhi.. And the second time, when they are on the bike and he accepts her friend request, such an endearing and cute scene- somehow wouldn't have had that impact were it not for those cute and naive happy expressions given by both PJ and ND.. They legit looked like a couple who just started a relationship and were giddy in love... Sigh, this makes me look forward to when that actually will happen

Abhi- looks very touched about the fact that she put his needs above her own, rather someone did that for him after such a long, long time...burning off her designer clothes and using perfume as the inflammatory factor, not caring about money but that tiny note given by her dad- all definitely didn't help to curb his growing admiration and attraction for her...initially he was just infatuated by her persona despite her rich status etc..now he is actually beginning to admire the person she is and realises that being rich isn't something that she holds dear to her...alas, he is going to hold himself back again for fear of heart-break the moment reality strikes that she has an impending rishta with Aman..

He is still a little bit farther than Meera on the road towards recognising feelings for each other..although Meera is definitely catching up!

Yesterday's episode was so beautiful that i could go on and on...but have to reluctantly end the post right now...will get back later as soon as my thoughts compell me to...the jungle sequence and the pattern of abhi-meera falling for each other is definitely a refreshing take...so many brownie points to all the people involved in bringing it on screen!

The entire friend's request bit was too cute for words...I'm so glad they didn't get into dialogues there...just Meera mischievously leaning over his shoulder and the shared camaraderie of their smiles even as they didn't say anything to each other...she silently requested and he silently accepted...and so began a sweet friendship:

Also the fact that Abhi just couldn't contain his joy at Meera agreeing to come back to Pant Bhavan...lol sooo happy they both looked in this bit...at one point it almost looked like Meera blushed😆

But yes, yes, yes...she did blush right there.. Yesterday's epi mein toh Abhi-Meera were competing on who can blush the most and who looks the cutest while doing that and I think as the audience it was a win-win for me either way 😆

This has got to be my fav moment/GIF of the entire lot...soo much was being conversed without actually saying it out loud. Check Meera's expressions- usko actually samajh mein nahi aa raha hai kaise react karein- the way she tilts her head away- i think it's the first time we saw her losing control in front of Abhi and looks thoroughly taken away by him- unlike their time on valley during their first meet, when she asks Abhi coolly "yeh tumhe kya hua hai" upon catching his flustered expressions 😆

Aur Abhi toh blushing control karne ki koshish bhi nahi kar raha tha... Notice the cute eye-lock right before she tilts her head away...uff, Utterly adorable these two were, yesterday

today was without a doubt one of the best episodes so far. it was the kind that melts your heart and really puts you into a shipper zone 😳😳. as you all said the conversations between abhi & meera were so lovely such small but refreshing moments between them like the friend request one and when she says she knows where her manzil is it's pant bhawan and abhi's surprised smile there:)) all i was doing was smiling from ear to ear while watching them and sighing loudly caz they were just so perfect .

Well, normally it's not as entertaining as say a ky2 😆 , but then PJ does reply to tweets now and then (at least he did reply to one of mine and some others during the last couple of weeks 😆 ) .. So just tagged both him and Namita to let them know they were good...and spamming Sony as well, asking them NOT to intefere in anything as the show and the creative team is doing a great job..we have already seen examples of what happens when channel interfers ..

Aaj kal toh it's better to not be on the radar I guess given how quickly things go downhill once "fame" hits.

That said, it wouldn't hurt Sony to atleast put out timely promos.

Seems like the team recently went to Lucknow for promotions but there was hardly any reporting on it...I just came across a randomly Dainik Bhaskar article yesterday (it was in Hindi)...had a short blurb/IV of Namita...seems like she's a very shy person so thought it would be difficult for her to get into acting...lol Meera is like the opposite of her.

None of the articles mention anything more about PJ other than the fact that he was that Titu guy in the SP show...was that show really popular? I never heard much about it. It really is weird to see him in that role...he was like the Meera of that show...actually much worse...itna useless insaan who didn't do anything and here Abhi is running around worrying about everything😆

Yeah they definitely don't belong to the selfie brigade 😆 .. In fact i also watched a recent IV of theirs just before the show started and both look very much grounded, were of course praises for their show (that was a given)..PJ ka talking style and tone is pretty similiar to Abhi..no wonder that comes realistically to him 😆 😳 also, Namita being shy- kind of comes across in Meera, her eyes are some times less expressive, guess coz of the inherent shyness, but then it also gives Meera ek alag hi andaaj, like she is the chulbuli types but also has some thehraav type-dont know if i made any sense, but hopefully u get me 😆

The lack of promotions by sony is indeed worrisome...my sole point of tension and anxiety is that the lack of TRPs not be a reason for the show ending or worse-change in quality it is being aired at prime time (9 pm ie), and in the era where a DABH or Naagin was famous for God-knows-whatever reasons, this show appeals a much urban and intelligent part of the population, that shouldn't really make the channel want to shift gears with the show... 😕

Oh and about this SP show with his titu character- heard it for the first time here on the forum, had no idea about the guy's existence before this show 😆
