Then they waited another day after yudh to pass before turning up finally in virat rajsabha as pandavas😕..

At the moment of the Virat War, Bheeshma counts that 13 years, 5 months and 6 days had passed since the 2nd Dyuta Sabha. The Pandavas were said to be extremely polite and hence had continued serving the Matsya royal family.

Another probable reason was maybe they wanted to be doubly sure, so that you know if say, they popped back right on 1st day of the 14th year, Dury might go ahead and create a confusion about if 13 years were counted from the dyuta sabha date, or from the next "New year day" and effectively debate Yudi into accepting another 12 years.

Since, 5 clear months had passed, the Ps had completed 13 years from all possible angles and not it wasn't possible for anyone to refute or disbelief.

Also, I believe I read something about a tithi, that the 13th day of the month (trayodashi) was an auspicious day, and hence Yudi decided to wait till that day to reveal themselves.

People Paintal was so awesome as Shikandi today.

Wondering if casting man Gufi Paintal had any idea that his brother could perform such brilliantly in the efficacious role.
