For your first question, use the layer options that is after you have made your sig, place your texture on top of the sig and select the 'lighten' layer option which will show u the flower on the sig and you can drag it anywhere on the sig and you can remove the unwanted parts by using the eraser tool, if it is not a light texture, select any layer blending option from the drop down list like 'overlay','screen' etc and use the eraser tool again if you want only parts of the texture
